I actually was angry when pic related ended, I felt that I wasted my time. A second part wasn't necessary, everything was tied up after L's death. They just shoved a "good wins in the end" bullshit.

So introducing new characters from nowhere, trashing the initial premise of the fight of kira vs L and that L was unique in the world (highlighted about the United Nations using him as last resource) and dumbing down the plot with asspulls and changing personalities, when even the author said that he wanted to end with L's death, where all the story was 99% tied up (maybe shinigami stuff, that part 2 didn't explained anyways) somehow, isn't bad writing, is just me nitpiking?
