Yeah, he's unironically the best character to serve as a bridge between the works aside from Lambda and Bern. The problem is that he works with Van Dine rules, and we know that Higurashi and mystery rules doesn't mix well.

I remember how at Episode 2 with the opening we were so sure this would blow up into full Witch territory in a few episodes but so far nothing of the sort, and I'm even less hopeful for the full Umineko cast appearing here.
But that's what I DESIRE.

The Sea of Fragments is outside time and space, so all witches exist there including Sorcerer Battler. Rika WILL have a witch fight there in that purply space. Once she's losing, Battora can show up as a guest character and help her out to reach some kakera and escape the witch she's fighting.

Then I dunno, have him come to Hinamizawa with Rudolph and Kyrie in a family trip.
