9 years means hes got at least a few more ideas written down right? And were gonna have a season 3 and a movie to keep us busy until its out? Right harubros?

don't forget the hours you can spend on playing pachinko

Nah, he confessed he's a lazy bum and did nothing.

If Haruhi is still popular, then it needs no anime as advertisement.
If Haruhi is no longer popular, then why take gamble their chances at making a new anime for it?

Because Netflix is desperate for content and is not ashamed to make a quick buck on nostalgia.

When talking about an Isekai scenario:
>“They’ll forget everyone they met in that other world…no matter what good times they had or what precious memories they made. If those people only knew, they’d be very sad.”
>I hadn’t expected her to take the scenario this hard.
>“Don’t worry, Asahina,” I hastily added. “If there’s a demand for a sequel, they’ll be sucked back into that other world, be reunited with their companions, and regain their memories.”
>“Really? Oh, good.”
>She smiled like a poppy anemone transforming into an iris.
>“Let’s hope it sticks to a single sequel,” Koizumi said as he flashed a wry smile. “But I suspect trilogies would be more likely.”

>trilogies would be more likely
S3 confirmed.

Kyoani needs money

It's not KyoAni's decision

Because a new generation needs an entry point and the future isn't certain.

If only the author wrote one book per year...

Aya-chan has finished reading the LN and shed tears at the ending. I wonder what happens.

Mikuru wins

>shed tears at the ending
Why? There's nothing cryworthy in the book unless it's just nostalgia or something.

Well the end of the book is the final note about the author's memories of some of the people that died in the fire.

Oh, well, you wouldn't usually refer to an afterword as the ending of a book.

Just finished the book. I loved it because I'm a big fan of mysteries. The final story would be pretty impossible to adapt to a visual medium though.
Koizumi and Kyon's conversation about Chekhov's gun seems like a pretty deliberate implication that he's going to write more. That and the stuff about how Haruhi's power might be changing.

>Koizumi and Kyon's conversation about Chekhov's gun seems like a pretty deliberate implication that he's going to write more.
>oh and by the way, that metal rod, that god damn metal rod, don't forget I need to deal with it
I mean, yeah, he was anything but subtle.

Tanigawa can't do subtle. Please don't bully him.

>tfw read Random Numbers and SWO translations a while back
>tfw still worth to get the run around from Tsuruya
>tfw my head jumped all the way to "maybe Tsuruya did it" in the third one
>tfw the data tech is being invented
>tfw[ yuki may have just blown everyone's cover by deleting the trackers
>tfw who cares because yuki as close to smiling as she can get because she got to have fun AND pull one over on some pesky authority figures
I loved every moment of it and will be picking up physical copy in the summer.
I felt things ;-;
I don't think it would be that hard. Flashbacks and some clever voice work, proper angles, and maybe the clever use of shadow people for the bodyguards could provide the same type of misdirection. You could see the scenes play out a certain way in your head before the "actual" events were revealed right? Animate that, and it's still not unfair, since it's in the context of a mystery in the first place. After all, some similar things happened on the island, right? We saw a few versions of events play out until other facts were either remembered or uncovered. In other words, we were forced to make the same assumptions the characters within the story made, without really thinking about it until we cross-examined it like the characters within the story were trying to do. I admit I figured out T was a plant around the time the second story started, but overthought the third story a bit...
No, I wouldn't say it's impossible to adapt to a visual medium. Just a little trickier than usual.

Somehow I had never read SWO and so I had no idea this blonde existed but it feels so good reading this shit, about to finish and start Tsuruya's Challenge. Give to me straight, did Tsuruya's Challenge live up to its name?

Oh and
>I thought she’d be interested in the trip to a fantasy world, but instead…

>“What’s this about sequels? Anyone who doesn’t have the guts to do their best with the first go-around doesn’t get to have a series. And you’re giving these people way too much plot armor. The basic idea is fine, but you can come up with a better story than this.”

>“Certainly,” Koizumi said, his smile so strained that I thought he was gonna pull a cheek muscle. You could see both strained rage and strained joy—there should be a better way to explain this. If only strage and stroy were real words.
Poor Koizumi, he can never get a break.

I'm also looking forward to Despera in the same season

The best way I can put it is that you'll end up sympathizing a lot with that girl, she'll even steal the words directly from your mouth by the end of it

Yes, but a lot is lost in translation. Read the raws if you can.

you know what i was gonna give you an extra hint but i screwed up and had to delete TWICE and nearly didn't put it behind a spoiler so just forget i was going to say anything

I had a friend pre-order the original with their special pre-order bonus for me but I'm reading the epub rip. I'll go back and read the volume once I feel more confident in my Japanese.

But he actually is really subtle.

We'd all be crying if that came about

God I fucking love this smile.

Stop posting, Kyon.

>Our chief, Haruhi Suzumiya, beamed a smile at us that would shame the sun god at high noon.
I FUCKING LOVE THIS WOMAN.

She's been so based in the latest volumes I might be tempted to call her a Mary Sue.

Mary Sues are JEALOUS of this woman. Click here to find out why.

>Spring was slipping by, and crouched beyond this season of new green growth were dazzling sunshine and tropical temperatures. The SOS Brigade truly was as it ever was.
If I had read this when it first came out I would be crying. Knowing that there really is something on the next page brings me more joy than any newfag could understand.
