The middle episodes really dragged on, I get the point that the villagers are getting picked off and just want things to enter the next stage. Start and finale was great though, even if it got too silly at times (How did the priest make it out of that massive fucking fire and find a functioning car?). Ultimately though, both species are fighting for their survival and you can't blame anyone. Humans persevered this time.

Yeah how does it feel to be this brainwashed by the author. If they show a blue sky and call it green would it become green? No. So why should I accept if they made something really stupid universe rule-bending in the very end just to force "muh open ending"? I won't and that's what normal people do.
Them getting away is really fucking rediculous and literally impossible according to the universe rules so there's no way it could happen.

What he's trying to get at is that it makes little sense for the profusely bleeding priest to make it to Sunako and somehow make it out of that too far gone massive fucking fire. It's cool that Sunako survives since it allows for a future story where her perception of humans changes one way or another, but the way they went about it was shit.

Wow I wonder how undead with superhuman abilities and senses, Sheishin the Jinrou even more so than Sunako the Shiki, escape from that situation.
Sheishin was a Jinrou by the time he reached Sunako so I don't see how it's hard to believe he reached her.
I would have preferred them showing how they got out of the village as well but considering the abilities of Jinrou and Shiki I don't understand why its hard to believe.
