What arc did you drop it?
What arc did you drop it?
After the time skip.
I know next to nothing about One Piece, but I was under the impression it's one of the best shounen. Is that not the case anymore?
I never dropped it, but if I did, it would have been during Dressrosa. I've been current since 2006 and for the first time while reading, I thought, "why do I like this?"
I will never will, I've already read through the last 400 awful chapters so I might as well finish it.
This
It's not that bad anyway. A shadow of its former self but how many mangos can maintain quality that long anyway?
It still is. Narutards and Huntertards are just getting uppity and the current arc is pretty long and slow so it's a great time to shitpost.
Dressrosa
long long island
didnt like alabasta or skypia
keep saying ill go back to it but i sit down and force myself to read a handful of chapters once every 3 months
idk what happened but after a certain point it felt like every arc was the same shit with maybe a small change every here and there, but god damn its hard to keep reading when i feel like i know how every arc is gonna play out
???????
why would i drop it?
i don't understand why i would suddenly stop doing something i enjoy
There's no point in dropping it anymore, might as well read till the end.
I dropped it for a few years in Dressrosa but picked it back up earlier this year. I dropped the anime during the Long Ring Long Land arc when I was watching it with Kaizoku Fansubs and have only seen a few misc episodes after that. Mostly when I checked out Funi's simulcast thing when it first started.
The anime isn't worth watching.
I've been reading since Skypiea, as if I'm dropping it now, fuck off
It's one chapter a week, a five minute read at best
>five minute read
Speedreader.
The first one
it never was best anything.
punk hazard i think
Wano during Oden flashback the wanking was too much. I still fail to see why Oda said Wano would be so much better than Marineford.
End of Dressrosa
During Dressrosa, but looking back, I should have dropped it during Marineford
I stopped following it weekly around Punk Hazards, but I'd still get bored sometimes and catch up. I haven't touched Wano at all.
End of Alabasta. Then I picked it up again towards the tail end of Dresserosa
Dressrosa
Seems a common spot to drop it
Wano is worse than Marineford.
Man, you stopped right when shit gets real
zou
Wano doesn't have stakes like Marineford had stakes. He's going to have to put actual characters instead of literal whos in danger. The scabbards probably want to die at this point anyway.
In Wano, when Oda started plagiarising ideas from fairy tail
>gratuitous fanservice
>shitty gags
>zero stakes, less payoff
>characters inexplicably cheating death
>cluster fuck of a plot
>bloated cast
>antagonists beaten in two hits after hundreds of chapters of buildup
>antagonists beaten in two hits after hundreds of chapters of buildup
Wot
word
NotJapan.
What happened in Dressrosa? From the opinions I hear about it, it reminds me of the reception to the Bourbon arc for Detective Conan.
>Kanjuro
>Orochi
>Apoo
>Hawkins
Offscreenpiece has never been this bad before
Nothing for a million chapters, thats the problem
It was way too fucking long and Doflamingo was the main villain of it and it was a massive let down after all the build up he had throughout the series. It was also the first big arc after the time skip so people that were already on the fence after Fish Man Island likely felt the series may not recover. And like halfway through the arc it just turned into battle after battle which got exhausting.
