Bokutachi ga Yarimashita

>Group of teenagers accidentally bomb a neighboring high school, killing multiple people
>The MC gets away without any consequences and ends up with a beautiful wife and child by the end
Isayama called this series a masterpiece. SNKbros what does this mean?

He didn’t truly get away with it considering how mentally fucked up he is.

He has good taste.

erin will die alone

Cope. He will breed with Historia and you're going to love it.

it's Himizu for dummies.

This manga is painfully average.

I thought it was a little lame how they all felt "sooooooo guilty they couldn't enjoy anything" .
That's not really how guilt works. You feel bad for maybe a week. then you put it out of your mind and stop thinking about it until now and then something reminds you of it for a minute or two then you forget about it and that gets weaker and weaker.

And by the time the detective gave them that "you'll always feel guilty and never enjoy anything so turn yourselves in durr hurr" speech they had already been living with the guilt for weeks and weeks so so some detective fag isn't going to make that big of a difference.

if the main character was going to feel so guilty he'd want to turn himself in, it would have already happened after seeing the severely injured people from the school in hospital.

If he managed to get past that without succumbing to guilt and not enjoying anything and turning himself in, some gay talk by the detective wouldn't have done shit

The only time I feel guilty is if I hurt or let down a family member or lover or friend. if I caused the death of some strangers I could put that behind me within a day or two

Other than the MC, his other friends really didn't seem to care much post-timeskip.

I only read this because Isayama said in an interview that it was really good. I wonder whether he has been inspired by aspects of it in SNK.

How do you accidentally bomb something

>Himizu
Just read the synopsis for this and the two sound almost exactly the same. What are the main differences between the two?

The MC and his friends set up a bunch of small, homemade remote explosives at a neighboring school to scare a group of delinquents there that had previously assaulted one of their members. However, there is a gas leak where they place one of the explosives, and when they activate it a large chunk of the neighboring school is destroyed with 10+ people being killed.

right but it was dumb they felt the need to do some foolish stunt before the timeskip after the detective's speech because "they felt soooooo guilty"

Isayama may be bad at writing manga but he is good as a reader. We did it is actually really good.

They are not alike at all. If anything We did is more cruel and somehow realistic about the portrayal of human selfishness and petty nature. Basically your main cast is full of assholes.

>The MC gets away without any consequences and ends up with a beautiful wife and child by the end
The problem is the MC wasn't a psychopath so he's absolutely plagued by guilt but is a complete coward so he spends he existence just floating along until he gets the balls to kill himself or let himself die

You forget that he also befriended on of his victims and accidently drove the dude to suicide. The MC also has some severe PTSD mixed with the guilt. He's a human wreck craving for punishment

Nope. Maybe for you but most people live in a stupid rollercoaster of ups and down when it comes to guilt. You just don’t pass the level and leave behind everything, that would only work for a sociopath.

Which one is worse off at the end PunPun or him?

PunPun is a literal cuckold by the end, I’d rather be filled with guilt, so We Did It is better off.

Onodera, he isn’t able to even handle his own death, is slowly forgetting Aiko and have to raise a kid that’s not his own.

I do not know how I forgot about the another man child thing, why did that girl do such a thing? Did not she like PunPun?

Punpun is empty inside but he can probably heal. This guy isn't well at all if he can go up to a wannabe serial killer and beg him to kill him.

Punpun abandoned her for Aiko so she went back to her ex-bf but he was a scumbag so here we are

Are there scans of the early volumes that aren't sized?

They’re weren’t even a couple, while they seemed to want to start something it never actually happened because Pun Pun dropped her the moment Aiko showed in the picture. So Sachi was on her own. She is not perfect and by the end she seems like she picked Punpun out of pity than her seeing him like a love prospect. And at the end if felt she was babysitting him more than being in a relationship with him.

Tobio without a doubt. Yeah Punpun is raising another man's kid but at the end of the day he has a large network of friends and family that not only give a damn about him but know what he did and went through they understand him and can maybe keep him from the edge again. Tobio is fucked dude is the walking dead. All he has is his wife and kid who cannot provide support for him and the only people who share his secret are scumbags. Dude is being eaten up inside so bad that he has to beg a low rent slasher to kill him because he lacks the balls to do it himself.

Good luck getting Punpun fags to understand this, hell there are some that think his Uncle's GF fucking him was a good thing and not one of the many traumatic experiences that led him to where he is

The thing is Tobio still have some sense of meaning and existence: guilt and the desire of dying while being afraid of doing it. While Punpun is an empty shell that gave up on life when he was just starting to live. He doesn’t even care about guilt.

I must have read PunPun wrongly because by the end no one truly understands PunPun and some are outright taking pity on him instead of truly caring, being a cuck on top of that is just the icing on the cake.

>same guy from trash like blue unlock and grashros

Isayama is great, but he can be wrong sometimes.

that's the whole premise you dumbass, he actually enjoyed it as seen in the final panel

It makes a good comparison to pun pun, since most everything the bokutachi boys got was basically their own fault. Just a series of mistakes, guilt, anxiety and poor decisions just grinding them through the the fallout of the initial mistake they made. They even get lucky from time to time, usually only to fuck things up more themselves.

Pun pun on the other hand is about a young man who just seems cosmically destined to get absolutely fucked at every turn by literally everything in life, and he actually should have just killed himself before he turned ten and saved himself the bother. God just hates you dude.

Tobio was literally begging for death, dude would probably let him self get TRUCKed if the opportunity happened. Tobio has nobody to say anything like this to him, he has no support no help. Punpun is broken but salvageable, even if some of them are with him out of "pity" that means they have some semblance of care for him. Tobio has nothing like that just his own mind and when you're fucked up like this you are your own worst enemy

Fuck off, don't spread disinfomation about a good manga for some shitty and petty snk trolling The MC is completely broken at end because of its guilty

>he thinks the guilty of killing people is comparable to being a baddy in his edgy fantasy.
Fucking dumb edgy child.

user, since you are basically dumping a ton of shit on Dostoevskij (and on every over 18 person with a brain, but whatever), you should really post that on /lit/ as a Crime and Punishment criticism and see how the /lit/ anons react to such a deep post.

blue lock is good, fuck you
