Yeah, so far they come to random people, function without a clear patter of relationship among them and the only pattern i see is that they can be loaned on to others seemingly post mortem.
Unless the power is supposed to change depeding on the person that gets it they make no sense as part of the system.
Could be that the naming is just an arbitrary denomination given by people and they arent supposed to represent anything
