It's possible the magazine decided having a variety of types of content was better, or the editor decided allowing sex wasn't going to happen even if the author wants it. Whatever the reason, it's still a bad idea to go on so long like that.

The page you are talking about is not the one I posted and is a different situation. Here the author is showing a depiction of 2 of the characters having sex, so sex can be shown in the series.
