Sorry for the wait, here's Shimeji Simulation's chapter 20.
-----------------------------------
How deep does this large hole the hole-digging club has made go...?
-------------------
“How do you tell how deep the hole is...?” we can’t even see the bottom “Sis said...”
“that we can just throw a rock into it and see how long it takes until it makes a sound...” “The speed of sound and gravitational acceleration are both constant, so you split it into travel and return time, t1 and t2...”
g... Gravitational acceleration V... Speed of sound h... Depth T... Time length from dropping the rock until you hear it drop = h... something like that? “We don’t know t1, t2, and h, but we’ve got three equations that we can solve to figure the depth and all...” “I can’t!” “I’m telling you how you can.”
“Heard it?” “Nope...”
“Let’s throw another one.” “Should make a pretty loud noise if it hits the digging machine down there...”
Apparently, not even Ms. Mogawa herself understood what sort of state she was in back then.
It seemed as if her abnormal fixation on “holes” triggered some sort of unique effect on her heart, but I can’t say for sure.
Then, as I was falling, I remembered what Sakutarou Hagiwara wrote regarding suicide.
If I remember correctly, I think it was about how he “couldn’t kill himself he was afraid of regretting it at the moment that comes after jumping from a high building and before hitting the ground.”
I don’t know how deep the hole goes, but if it goes all the way to the center of the Earth,
then it's probably a long enough fall for me to regret it, reminisce about my entire life, and make peace with death.
>we actually got a new chapter this month hoorah! I'm going to bed because it's late but thank you as always for your translating work. You're a real hero.

“Nhoooo...” “I dun wanna dhieeeee...”
“Nothing we can do about it. Give up.” “We can’t give up already!!”
“There’s... There’s... still the possibility that it’s pierced right through” “and that we’ll land in Brazil just fine...”
“They say it’s about 6000 degrees at the center of the Earth.” “We’re gonna burn to death...!!”
--------------
“I’m sorry... I dragged you into this...” “I’m a failure of a teacher...”
“How about we make a ring first, Ma’am?” “Ah, yes...”
“It’s fine, not like it matters now...” sorry “Yeah.”
“You’ve always acted like a failure of a teacher anyway.” drinking and stuff “Ah... Yeah...”
“...Anybody here has anything left in the bucket list that doesn’t involve a lot of movement?” “Not really...” “Ah...! Wedding... I wanna have a wedding!!” “That’s enough out of you, Majime-chan.” “Why!?” “I... I...”
“...I!” “Have something to say...!”
“That’s the first time... I’ve ever heard you talk...” “...” “...”
--------------
“I... don’t really enjoy school... I go to the infirmary, go home early a lot...” “But last year, I saw you make something behind the school building, Ma’am...” “At first, I had no idea what you were making, but you were very serious about it.”
“Seeing you made me think I had to attend school properly...” “I... I... I.” “...”
Are these stakes with symbols based on anything? I have seen very similar ones in a video game before and also on a beach (which was curiously enough under the world and accessed by jumping into a big hole).

Next is a spread, but I'll leave it to TS user to merge the thing.
“I stopped making these because I thought a teacher shouldn’t be...” “but that was why I ended up trying to open a large one, wasn’t it...?” “Ma’am...” want to do it too?
“I’ll make pottery again... so please don't stop coming to school.” “Yes...” “...Don’t give up teaching too...” “Right... I have to cut down on alcohol and holes...”
After a while, we were sent back to school as if nothing ever happened. It didn’t feel like we woke up from a dream or anything, it all just felt like it happened in a continuation of reality.
In the same vein, the dream danchi I saw has also started to feel like it was real... Either way, I’m sure there’s something weird with the town.
“Ahh, I wish I’ve got my new swimsuit...” “There's always next time."
But, well, nothing wrong with it being weird, I thought.
the hole's been filled more than just filled, thing’s poking out
-------------------
There really is something weird about the world...
Thank you tl user! I've been really looking forward to this.

>“but that was why I ended up trying to open a large one, wasn’t it...?” Whoops, that was supposed to be “but that was why I ended up trying to open a large hole, wasn’t it...?”
