My boomer dad made me help his friend get into crypto back in may 2018. He wanted me to buy vechain, set up coinbase and crypto wallet etc. I said not to do it(especially buy vechain at $5) but he didnt listen.
So vechain tanked, its a scam after all. I eventually sold his shit without telling him to margin trade with it long after he’d written it off as a loss.
Now vechain is rising with the tide im worried he’ll comeback. If btc hits 100k his vechain stack may be worth 40k usd just because of that.
What the fuck should i do if that happens? Should i just be honest and give him back close to his initial if i can out of my own pocket(around 30k usd) or should i say i sold it in the panic of 2018 crash to BTC and lost it
I dont know if he will realise it later or not so im planning ahead.
