300+ chapters next big jump hit.

No. First chapter had interesting premise buildup but it turned to meh when MC turned out to be a fighter "building peace" instead of a builder, doesn't make sense. Toriko enjoys Komatsu's cooking and both have synergy with each other, here, MC can perfectly live off without his brother.
At this rate, instead of focusing on building sturdy houses or elaborate monster trap, it would turn to be a boring battle manga instead.

Toriko is one of the most underrated manga out there, i trust the pedo mangakaka.

This I expected a story where the MC has to build very quickly during dangerous encounters with monsters and natural disasters to protect himself. Turns out, his brother is doing all the building job and the MC is just a heavy hitter who solves all his problems with muh punch harder. I give this manga 20 chapters max until it's getting axed

Build Kings are giant houses, though. Not the carpenters themselves. If anything, MC's peace will be his Build King.

I hate that this is exactly what's going to happen.

I see more potential in this than either Phantom Seer or Our Blood Oath. At least for now. I mean, it could end up like Samurai 8. Who knows.

I love the worldbuilding, the characters are just there to tell me about the lore.

I liked Sakamoto Days' first chapter better, but it's ok

For now it's a bit meh, but I had the sale feeling with Toriko which ended being extremely entertaining, so Il hope Shima delivers
Also he's one of the few authors who managed to do a good ending

Setting was meh

Characters were generic at best. Absolutely unlikable at worst.

Toriko had better characters and a better premise for world building (I.e. hunt stuff, the more dangerous, the more delicious). I don't see how Build King is gonna avoid the same fate as Samurai 8.
