Shingeki No Kyojin

I'm gonna say it.. I hate Eren.

I didn't like his character from the beginning, when he was a whiny brat, who thought he was the center of the universe and did nothing to earn the power he got. In season , his breakdown made him better and more likeable, but now, in the manga, he just flat out ignores everyone and does what HE thinks is right.

He didn't do anything to get to where he is now, everyone kep rescuing his butt and now he thinks he can decide over the fate of the entire world? He lacks compassion, restraint, can't adapt, is narrow minded literally doesn't even know what this massive destruction could cause! Rainforests destroyed? All animals will go extinct? Maybe he doesn't know about that of doesn't even CARE about that, but at the very least he coould talk things through with people who keep saving his *ss all the time!

Eren is an interesting character. Not a likeable character, an interesting character. From my point of view, he's just Hal Stewart from Megamind, who deserves nothing, but gets everything without anyone teaching him any morals. Actually... I think this was what the author was going for..

Wow japanese fans are vocal about the new chapter and they are not happy. Theyre discontented with the way eren's character is going and the whole genocide. I guess they were holding out hope for a lelouch route. There's even a petition that's garnered thousands of signatures to have the chapter changed. Obviously that wont happen but it shows how unhappy they are.

Are we sure "what if I were to have a baby" is even from Eren's memories? Might it be possible that it's a red herring and it's actually from some one else's memories?

Reiner is not a psychopath, unlike Eren.

It would be an intersting twist if it's actually from farmer/Yelena's POV. We already got the bert shard and the Falco shard in the same chapter that can't be from Eren's POV, so it's definitely possible.

I've always loved Eren. If you didn't like Eren pre-timeskip then you can't truly appreciate Eren now.
