I think Chainlink and all oracles (decentralized or not) is created by people who do not want centralized databases to become obsolete. Because their control of data aka control of power will diminish.
People need to wake up. Chainlink is one of the last attempts of the centralized powers to take control.
And the whales of the centralized powers will pump such projects for the sheeps to follow. Defeating the purpose of the decentralization movement.

Literally just read the whitepaper. I'm interested in it as a developer and I take the rise in LNK as an indicator that the tech anticipated to be in demand. Since I'm poor I'm not buying LNK but I'm learning the tech to be able to have a successful business servicing smart contracts.
