You're on the right track, simply by existing Jesus exists and Heaven exists as an alternative to the Void Light was cast into.

In the lore jesus can only die by being nailed in to a cross and being impaled by a spear, and when he dies he goes back to his godly form.
Even if Light tries to writes jesus being murdered by a spear in his heart, once jesus dies he becomes a divine being.
Also, probrably the shinigamis wouldnt even use they power in the son of god anyway.

He can pass the note on is what I meant. Jesus, and by extension through his inaction, God, can't defeat Light Yagami. Merely locking down Jesus into an infinite loop of death and God's constant inaction basically is him kneeling to Shinigami.
It just requires consistently doing it, that's about it my guy.

I don't think you understand, Light is doomed to the void sooner or later as are all humans that use the Note. A infinity supply of humans isn't possible either because from a logical standpoint if time is infinite and allows for infinite actions(think monkey in a typewriter), there isn't much to do when anything involving death isn't reversible and bound to happen in a global or universal scale sooner or later.

God on the other hand is eternal as it his realm which Light won't be a part of. Like other anons have said, Light loses by default to Jesus if he were to exist in the DN universe, in fact they don't even need to meet, Light already lost.

Everyone in Death Note loses by default because they all go to nothingess.
