Call me shill or whatever but warera contactee has amazing redrawn sfx.
The mermaids have been released already, user! But don't worry, you can still help them!
I'm looking for any clue of where to find RAWs or buy the following magazines:
スーパーダッシュ&ゴー! issue 2013/04 contains ch.2
スーパーダッシュ&ゴー! issue 2013/06 contains ch.3
They're also named Super Dash & Go! or SD&GO!
Opinions on translating a doujin series of a franchise that I'm not really a fan of? Yay or nay?
Thinking of translating a KC doujin series on Pixiv but I've never played the games nor watched the anime
It's a 4-koma comedy with barely any reference to the lore and I do know the popular fan depictions of the characters if that matters
But why?
kancolle sucks so go ahead
I thought it was hilarious
Friendly reminder to all nagaifags that a guy picked up Maboroshi Panty
>calls it scanlation
>the only ones who have scanned something and translated their own scans are less than ten people
It's a new age gramps
Everything is digital and digital is everything
There was one chapter of Mitsudomoe with some really well redrawn sfx. The project's more or less an experimental revolving door for TS but this definitely turned out one of the best looking.
What killed the hype?
official english simulreleases
Not as long as Viz are still cockblocking Shogakukan
Do Mitsudomoe anons still need a typesetter?
is that hand drawn sfx? can you tell me how to make those? I have a pen tab that I bought some months ago and I thought maybe I could use that for stuff like this instead of gathering dust.
I'm doing 203 atm but I'm just too slow
bump
Thanks user, it’s nice to know there are people appreciating it. ch3eventually
It’s one of those things where you’re kinda just limited by how much you play around with the brushes. Some good ones to try are classic round ones along with flat brushes for slanted text effects. Mess around a bit with the brush settings and you can do some neat stuff. I prefer fonts but the flexibility is great. There’s some good videos on YT.
Also, don’t just think about hand-drawn SFX, if you have a tab it’ll help you with redrawing as well, it’s great for things like curved lines.
how did you learn to ts/rd/cl?
You read one tutorial on each and just do it until the shit you put out looks decent.
Where's the user that said they'd snipe Jashin-chan Dropkick? :(
Link to YT videos? I need more tutorial on that. Thanks a lot user
I watched this one the other day which I thought was pretty good m.youtube.com
There are probably more in YT recs too. This shows the key ideas (as far as I can tell, as somebody who doesn’t usually hand-draw)
ts from group 8888 often looks really nice
Is there anywhere I can ask for a scanlation? The mangaka for Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko made a doujin.
thanks mate
you can contract that out but that shouldn't really be necessary for stuff by fumita
You'd think, right? But Yamako VS Dronyuudou has been out for half a year already.
I like what our SFX/redrawer did
Ah.a scanlation thread. Had anyone tired to use esrgan gui like cupscale to do ai upscale smaller manga pages?
Damn that's sick.
