Totsuka blade is useless, remember that it doesn't kill the user but seals them in pocket dimension. There's no reason why minato couldn't teleport out of there

It not though it seal people and you are assuming that minato can safely teleport into and out to other dimensions desu. I was just stating what itachi can do that minato cant and the yata mirror negates most ninjutsu. I didnt even talk about the genjutsu itachi can use on him. Itachi is objectively better than minato. Even with 9tail form he can just genjutsu both of them at the same time desu. Amaterasu and much much more. I can go on but hopefully you understand now.

I think Minato is fast enough to not get hit by most of Itachi's tools, the Yata mirror is, I think, the only thing that could catch him, so Itachi should base his plan around countering a rasengan, but outside of that I don't see Minato falling for a genjutsu or being taken down by jobber flames

And? Nauto had the beast withing him for over 16 years and needed a lot of training to finally befriend him and use his super special mode, Minato didn't.
