Why tf is this anime never talked about or only mentioned as a subpar mystery? This is Kimetsu no Yaiba all over again, Zig Forums underrates stuff. Go watch it if you like a mystery atmosphere like Higurashi or Fullmetal Alchemist. Sure you might get the culprit very easily but that's not really the important part, hell Ace Attorney always shows you the killer at the very beginning, but Gosick still keeps you at the edge of your seat seeing wtf will happen and the overarching story is good.
I'd say it's Top 20 anime I've seen out of hundreds simply because the characters and setting are good, the situations are good as well, nice European setting and while it shows death it isn't a gore fest.. Nothing else to improve. It even has action at times.
consider it a good thing that Zig Forums doesn't shit on it

Aoi Yuuki doing a tsundere goth lolita is always great. I have noticed that it almost never comes up in conversation and i've seen maybe 5 threads in the last 2 years about it. It was good but not overly remarkable with no best girl war so I guess it's not shocking it never gets talked about here. The first ED is great too.
