not here to spoonfeed newfags. if you don't know how to do this yourself i dont really give a fuck about your opinion anyway,

do you know something? have some LP too but that's a big investment.

You retain the keys

I thought I was the only one who saw it.

It was definitely real.

200,000 usd

That's actually sad. In 2 months time LP tokens will drop 90%.

Incoming competition from every direction immediately when staking happens.

I wouldn't even say from competition they hold a specific niche in the market and its worth having imo. The liquidity is fucking horrendous though and if LINK corrections LP always corrects harder. I'd rather miss out then buy at these prices, but being first in line for high value jobs/contracts would probably be fucking lucrative. I wouldn't even think about buying LP unless you have at least 5K LINK, probably closer to 10K

this viewpoint always makes me laugh. what, you think when staking gets released that serious developers are going to use some half assed side project that binance tossed together? or are they going to use nodes from a company that was founded with the sole purpose of creating high quality LINK nodes, whose founder is a developer on the actual chainlink team

>bought LP literally two days ago for 38 eth
>now it goes for upwards of 50 eth
jesus christ
wtf was that you?

Buying LP would have made more sense to me if staking had been announced before LINK price started climbing so high. Now staking rewards won't appreciate as much

Let me guess, $100 LINK is the absolute top and anyone saying anything higher is delusional

No I think it can reach higher, I'm a burger though so never bothered to look into LP much. Assume you have a 10k link stack, how much LP do you need to fully stake and what sort of rewards could be expected?

is Jonny dumping on us?

1 LP will eventually be worth the rights to stake 10k LINK, as outlined in their medium article.
>what rewards could be expected
do you want me to just write random numbers? i don't know, nobody knows.
but you will be getting revenue from all LinkPool revenue streams, this means:
All LinkPool nodes
All Node-As-A-Service nodes that LinkPool manages
All revenue from market.link (hugely underestimated, this will be THE go-to website for chainlink node information, and its monetized)
ETH 2.0 staking on LinkPool (they've said they plan on doing this)

*any other sources of revenue LinkPool generates such as them managing creation of service agreements for devs requiring LINK nodes, as this task requires specialized knowledge.

in short, possibly a fucking obscenely stupid amount of money. possibly not much at all.

I suppose it was the recent Community Grant LinkPool was awarded and Mat hinting at their Yearn integration. Why wait?

now imagine having paid .6 ETH for one back in the day
guys, give me some advice. I have 6 LP, and used to have 30k LINK but life came at me fast and I had to sell 29k of it. This gives me 6LP and ONE THOUSAND LINK. I shouldn't do this, should I? What kind of ratio do you think I should settle at?

try to get to 5k link

>now imagine having paid .6 ETH for one back in the day
I don't have to imagine...
186 people around the world know what it's like

>used to have 30k LINK but life came at me fast and I had to sell 29k of it.
sorry for your loss
10,000 link per 1 LP share seems to be a common number tossed around
nobody knows for sure and it's all speculation
to be honest, I suspect linkpool shares will be more valuable in the long term
biweekly dividend payouts directly as chainlink tokens are very valuable
and if you've noticed, the payouts have been increasing

Why would someone want to hold Linkpool shares?

Let me tell you why. Direct exposure to an official nodes income. Majority of nodes will not let you stake your link with them. They will be drawing down link from lending pools or services like AAVE to fulfill their nodes staking needs.
Why would operators use your link when they can borrow it at 5% APR? We will likely see pools returns increase when lending your link, however you won't be getting a direct cut of those nodes profits.
Even if you do get to stake, your node operator will likely be using linkpools audited staking contract or listing services via market.link

I think companies will choose reliable nodes with the most cost savings. Competition will be immediate. Market shares will spread out fast across providers.

well each LP is worth about $20k or 1529 Link. I'd probably sell 4 LP if I was u

OP, you are wasting your time speaking to newfags and retards. the effort is appreciated.

very happy to see this 10LP/500ETH sale. it represents and solidifies the new price tier of linkpool shares at 45-50 ETH, up from its previous tier of whatever the fuck it was at, i think 38-42 ETH.
very curious to see what the value of this most precious gem will become once the network fully takes off. even most biz link OGs don't have LP. so underappreciated.
i don't think it is crazy to see this at double or even triple the cost it is now, on the modest side. all that future revenue waiting to be distributed...

I would buy 0.4 LP share for 4K links. I need to adjust my ratio before staking

>each LP is worth about $20k or 1529 Link
what the fuck, I didn't even realize this
I'm 19 years old and used an apathetic friend's ID to sign up for everything after promising I'd give him 1% of whatever I make through crypto
I'm literally a teenager and I have more money laying around than my parents what the fuck what the fuck

chad's are bored and speculating

I can't even figure out how you managed to get in this situation. Lol That blows man but don't look back. So if you able to sell 5LP for 50 a piece you'd make almost 100K USD worth of ETH. That comes out to around 7500 LINK at $13 USD per. I'm just rounding most of this. Anyway that about 8500 LINK and 1 LP. If you get real lucky and we start to correct further and you manage to sell those LP before then you could likely snatch up enough LINK to round you to 10K LINK and 1LP. LINK is following ETH's indicator charting patterns from the years prior to the 2017 madness. There will be a point where it doesn't correct much after a parabolic expansion. You were better off not swinging from $10 to $100 for example on ETH. Too easy to get burnt.

Any other burgers holding? Whats the gameplan?

There's no fee to transact on the dex anymore, right? So what's keeping some bored O.G. from just wash trading with himself back and forth for a few dollars in gas fees?

Remember that this is crypto. Your sudden wealth could be gone as fast as it came. 2017 made many millionaires but 2018 took it all away again.
