Well I recently finished Ace wo Nerae! and really liked it. Despite the art and animation being pretty bad throughout. Found out there was a second season, so I've been watching that. And while its way better art and animation wise, I haven't been enjoying it all that much. It's not bad by any means, but I'm not a fan of how much darker and depressing it is compared to the first season. And the pacing feels off as well. So I've been struggling to finish it because of that.

In terms of 80s-90s anime, watched Dragon's Heaven lately which looked fantastic and was a very pleasant little watch despite being so barebones. Watching some stray eps of Urusei Yatsura and Ranma here and there. was thinking of picking up Slayers because i'm in the mood for something fantasy-themed but i've received mixed messages regarding how worth it it is to trek through it these days

I never bothered with Flash because I don't care for the designs but what do you think of Dirty Pair's derivatives? I watched Panty and Stocking first and it's probably part of the reason I like Dirty Pair so much in the first place. Rakushou! Hyper Doll is pretty bad but the theme song is great and I enjoy a lot of aspects of it despite it not being executed well.

I'd put this on the same level of Hyper Doll. Not that great but interesting. I watched some of the reboot years ago when I was a horny middle schooler but I never finished it and don't remember everything so I can't tell you if it's really any better or not
