Don't mind me, just being the best live action adaption of a manga ever made.

Ok
Oldboy was a manga?
maybe is just nostalgia but i remember this begin awesome (yes speed racer is a anime)
Oldboy sucks.
Ok
The movie is frankly way better than the manga.
...
that's not riki-oh: the story of rikki
No, that would be Blue Spring.
Yeah the manga was complete trash imo. I don't know how these people thought okay let's adapt this. It's kinda like Perfect Blue. If you read the novel, it was a pretty mediocre slasher. I have no idea how Satoshi Kon was asked to adapt it. Love how he didn't even read the novel either.
main villain kidnaps MC because he saw him cry in class as a kid and HOW DARE YOU MUH PRIDE AHHHHHHHH. also the girl isn't related to him or anything just some random chick at a bar. series ends with villain killing himself and MC wondering if he's still hypnotised or not
Haha nice try.
Yeah, and it sucks.
did you even watch the fucking movie retard
Oldboy or Perfect Blue? What did I say that made you upset?
Based Kon refused to do Perfect Blue unless he was allowed lots of freedom to change stuff.
cringe hollywood adapatation
based hollywood adaptation. Much better than the novel imo.
"What if Beck wasn't a boring piece of shit until 20 episodes later when there's some payoff?"
He is wondering if the girlfriend has another layer of brainwashing, not him. Agree that the villian“s motivation in manga is fucking stupid.
>Liking adaptations at all
Turds
Takashi Miike is great user, adaptation or not.
Go watch Audition you uncultured swine.
Incorrect. Kantaro is one of the funniest things I've watched, anime included. Shame the manga doesn't have an English translation.
blade of the immortal sucked
*licks*

hey, didn't knew about that one, thanks!
to be fair, some things shouldn't be adapted into full length series.
the movie had that impeccable comedic timing and cuts which made it better than the straight action manga
Seto No Hanayome's anime is a lot better than its' manga
Watched it recently, it's pretty cool. What was the ending about, though?
