With just over 30 days until Season 2 of Slime Isekai, why aren't you rewatching the 24 episode season 1 and its 4 follow-up OVAs?

Also Milim appreciation

Fair enough, although Mushoku Tensei doesn't have an anime yet

If you drag LNs / manga into it Slime probably wouldn't rank in the Top 5 but it's very much a Top 3 anime among currently running series

I have been. I want to get into the novels more though. I don't have much excess time though with school for another couple weeks.

I have though. Also hasnt the 5th ova come out or not yet?

To bad there will be barely any milim in s2

I already read the LN, slime is fun show, loved it.

Slime is really weird, I thought it started well but it just turned into a bore, the MC doesn't have an interesting personality and the powers ups that he'll get killed it even more for me.

based, loved her

>the MC doesn't have an interesting personality

Wait for Season 2 trust me.

It's a matter of opinion, but I think Rimuru has a pretty interesting personality. He's sort of autistic in a way. I also like that he really doesn't care about romantic things besides casual thoughts saying stuff like "oh she's good looking".

The way they ended season 1 was boring as fuck for me, those kids were annoying. Hopefully I see more cute onis this season.

They all fucking die making rimuru go nuclear and becoming a demon lord so he can revive them

dangerously based

Only going off season 1, I don't feel Rimuru was as much of a draw as the town he was building. I just wanted to see how much bigger that town could get.

Shit series

I already read the WN until its end and I keep the manga up to date so there is no need to rewatch the animated version.

The OVAs are actually really fun, I enjoyed them.

But it goes off the light novel which is different from the webnovel.

Milim is DUMB.

It's a problem of the adaptation I think. Just like with Fate Stay Night where people think Shirou has no personality. For both, it's because people only watched the anime. The Slime LN has a lot more of Rimuru's inner thoughts and his opinions on things that the anime and manga leaves out. It gives him way more personality than is portrayed in the anime and manga.

It's out

Yeah it helps to have read a novel or two. I do think he does have personality in the anime too, but it shows more in the novel.

It's just not as well defined in the anime. His personality is more one note as just a kindhearted leader with little else. In the light novel he's much more nuanced, he feels like a real person with real motivations.

Ah man thanks for the reminder gonna start my rewatch monday
How do you rewatch shows I do 2 episodes a day monday- friday
I tryed to pick up the LN in the break between seasons but I want to start at 1 and the bookshop never seems to have 1

This is a good opinion. I'm also really into the Rimuru building his empire.

Reminds me of the Civilization V trailer-

I usually do 1 or 2 a day as well unless it's a good arc, in which case I'll wait for a weekend for more episodes at once.

FYI Kindle has the LNs as well. Presently $7 for volume 1 in the USA via Amazon's website

He comes off as more utilitarian in the novel too.

I always by physical even if I don't have the shelf space.

Gotcha. I understand that.
