What are your honest thoughts of Eren going rogue and basically destroying the world as far as shounen protags go?
Even if they stop him, the damage is already done as Eren has killed millions. Do you think shounen needs more protagonists who are also villains of their own story? I personally hope he wins because it would one of a kind story.
Eren’s victory would be an unseen thing as far as shounen goes.
Eren isn't that different from shounen protagonists and aot isn't that different from anything that has run in shounen msgsxines over the last 60 years
If Eren wins then SNK will be the most memorable shounen ever, if it’s Naruto tier ending then it will be forgotten within few years.
Problem is that SNK is as mainstream as it gets and genocide end might be blocked by editors or even Isayama himself if he thinks it would be too muc in COVID world.

the known world is afroeurasia, and we've seen him get all the way to the deepest parts of europe and asia (england and japan) and already all the African continent (the Marleyan empire so the bulk of the world) so I've seen most people say it's 70-90% of the world already

the alternative would not set it apart at all, it wouldn't be memorable in the slightest and honestly it wouldn't even fit in the story thematically... shitty "good" guys beat "bad" guy and save the "good" world ending, when Isayama has made the entire manga thus far about blurring the lines of morality

Kind of conflicted, but mostly because you know that he'll be stopped and that's gonna be lame. If he were to get his way then it would be uber based.
I wasn't happy when Eren's personality changed but came to accept it. I think him and the bois deserved an happy ending after all their troubles but if this is the route Isayama takes then he should have the balls to see it through to the end.
After all the people Eren has killed he can't be redeemed well except if this is a worldwide genjutsu or Eren is imagining how things would go if he took this route and will eventually decide not to carry it out. In that case that would be bad writing but still an acceptable ending.
I don't even know why people care that much about. Being a protagonist or a main character doesn't necessarily mean they'll be the "good guys."

Eren is a product of the war against Eldia, the King's failed philosophy and the actions of those around him. His descent into madness is no different from a child learning that the real world is harsh, unfair and mostly importantly is not free and then rebelling against said world. The difference between a child and Eren is that Eren had the determination and the means to achieve his dream. He's a very interesting character.
