>introduce Angemon before Patamon
>let Angemon fight alongside everyone and show his power as his introduction
>still try to make his evolution seem important/meaningful only a few episodes later
It's like the writers of this wanted to emulate the feeling of when Patamon evolved in the original series but completely missed the whole point as to what made it impactful. This show keeps pulling this kind of shit, there's hardly any build-up to anything and it all feels so rushed all the time.

It took me 22 episodes but then the realization hit me that Digimon is for children and I decided to drop it.
Yeah... maybe that's the best thing to do at this point.
>Angemon
>fight
yeah right
I wanted at least one well animated fight scrne with him but so far I'm getting scraps of nothing
>It's like the writers of this wanted to emulate the feeling of when Patamon evolved in the original series but completely missed the whole point as to what made it impactful.
It was a fucking deus ex machina in the original that only existed to one shot Devimon.
Kill yourself.
>It was a fucking deus ex machina in the original that only existed to one shot Devimon.
But they still built up to it and when you got there it had weight. It was part of the character development, everyone gets to evolve except Patamon, Takeru is just a worthless little kid holding everyone back, etc. Then when everyone's back is against the wall, Takeru finally has his moment when Patamon evolves into Angemon to blow the fuck out of Devimon... only to be reverted to an egg in the process and put Takeru back to square one (this time with determination and purpose). It was well done, regardless of what you think about him one-shotting Devimon.
Then they make this remake, and they take all the superficial elements of what happened in the original series and slap them together out of order over the span of what, 5 episodes? Takeru standing up this episode with his defiant "I WANT TO HELP TOO!" thing held zero weight because he's brand new to the team and has actually been an active contributor for the whole time he's been around. It's weightless and hollow.
>But they still built up to it
They didn't.
>and when you got there it had weight.
It didn't in fact it made the fight worse because Devimon became less of a threat if he got killed with one hit and the circumstances for Patamon being unable to evolve made no sense and was just contrivance for contrivance sake. The remake just cuts down on the bullshit
Wait a minute. I have only watched the first two episode of the 2020 anime, but does Hikari meet Agumon before the myotismon incident?
She met patamon after etemon was defeated, but not agumon as I remember. Also is she now in the Digi-world before the myotismon incident?
>writers
There are writers in this reboot? They aren't getting paid for this show, right?
What?
Same problem with introducing Omegamon so early twice already when he was originally a movie transformation. He completely eclipses their Mega forms in power and whenever the kids get in serious trouble they can just summon him to solve everything. Why should the audience give a shit about the WarGreymon tease in an earlier episode when all this has already happened?
What in the actual fuck are you talking about? This is a completely new storyline.
Omegamon isn't a new Digimon retard his appearance doesn't eclipse anything
So myotismon doesn't appear in this series?
Has she met gatomon?
What part of "completely new storyline" do you not understand?
He's just samefagging and switching IPs, no one can like this reboot apparently.
And to answer your second question, not yet. But she should in a few episodes.
Woah a reboot is not a remake that means it sucks
Yet you entered the thread just to bitch about it
Are you ESL or just a drooling retard? How did you manage to misinterpret everything I said in plain English?
What you said made no fucking sense dipshit
I guess I'll go with drooling retard then as the explanation.
Nah you are just a retard
>they all get separated next episode
Angemon confirmed to do nothing.
If they're continuing this shitty lack of build up, everyone's probably getting Megas/Ultimates now.
At least the new ED was great:

Mimi-only spinoff when?
Maybe because it will.evve into a new alt Champion instead of basic Angemon? They pulled the same shit with Agumon not long ago. It's likely that his true Mega won't be WarGreymon this time.
I would watch a Mimi SoL over this reboot and even the OG, to be honest.
I think a lot of people would.
>They didn't
Except he just explained how they did.
This reboot sucks ass.
>Except he just explained how they did.
He literally didn't. Its just his retarded headcannon much like everyone who praises the original when it was filled with bad writing that gets excused because it came first
