Do you still enjoy them?
Happily ever after endings
If I wanted the opposite I'd look outside my window, so yes, I still enjoy them.
only if they involve villains winning
if it's a hero's happy ending, it's fucking trash and if I get spoilered in time I drop the series
>I AM THE EDGE OF MY SWORD
Yes
Of they are well done and actually feel earned. I dislike it when an author wants to have their cake and eat it too by having some tragic/bittersweet ending and then asspulling it into a happy one.

examples?
Where is this from? I know the narration is edited in.
That image SCREAMS wholesome and happy ending. How is the rest of the story?
Mato Seihei no Slave.
It's edited. The text is actually from here.
Shibamoto please come back, at least draw few more chapters of dakini
Kemono Friends 2 taught me that all happy endings are immediately followed by the absolute worst-case scenarios playing out and everything being invalidated as the characters you come to love and cherish either die horribly or are subjected to fates worse than death, so no.
>they had children
how?
hey user remember when you told me that kf was going to be 2hu's spiritual successor?
It could've been if Kemono Friends didn't get raped to death, yeah.
Dragons can shag anything.
are their dingus portionally very small?
Magic dicks, adjustable to personal preference.
Either Mine took the big dragon cock or Akame was able to cure Tatsumi somehow
people said the same thing about the boats though
Except Kemono Friends didn't die naturally the same way Kancolle did.
nothing will replace touhou anytime soon,
I know not what gives touhou its staying power but it is likely to even outlive zun, and will probably get a full studio funded anime once it enters the public domain.
Cum tub, don't have the pic
>will probably get a full studio funded anime once it enters the public domain.
God, I hope not. I hope ZUN's kids don't sell Touhou out when ZUN passes away decades from now.
Yes, since everything else is just miseryporn at this point and it gets kinda dull.
while they could keep the trade mark of Team Shanghai Alice going long after zun is gone, the copyright will eventually run out.
It'll have hopefully comfortably reclined into obscurity by then.
>full studio funded anime once it enters the public domain.
which studio
all of them, touhou will become the "ghost riders in the sky" of anime.
Storytelling in 2hu is like a group of bubbles, with each story its own self-contained narrative. It's similar to SW extended universe stories that way. I don't think it lends itself well to anime because of that, though.
Fans and 2am flandreposting are probably most of what keeps 2hu alive on /jp/.
I thought in 2010 that was what was going to happen by 2020.
what went wrong exactly?
I like happy endings, most authors try so hard to go for a bittersweet even when it doesn't fit just for the "it's not a happy end so it's automatically better" effect.
Saddest part is that retards agree.
