Any thoughts on TRIGGER's upcoming Cyberpunk series? I thought that the idea of adapting an American board game into an animated series seems like quite an interesting concept. It's amazing to think this is the first true RPG anime being made.

It's shit right?

I'm fairly excited for it, can't possibly be worse than the game it's based on at least, and they ain't gonna be able to insert aliens here

It can't be worse than the game at least.

*shazam sip intensifies*

>TRIGGER
SOULLESS!

Yeah okay but do the female bots have penises?

It'll be a Cyberflop.

But they can still have the finale be in space since cyberpunk has space colonies.

Western pandering shit. I hope it fails, I hope everyone at trigger gets cancer. I pray that everyone in netflix is doomed in an eternity of the most horrendous pain and suffering imaginable and I hope OP drowns in semen

Mc looks like a biker of some sort so I am ok with a space climax as long as they get there bayonetta style by driving up a launching rocket

I hope it makes a positive social impact on Japan.

I hope it succeeds precisely to make people like you mad.
but honestly I am starting to doubt it will, I thought edgerunners would be there to salvage the reputation of the franchise after the game fucked it but the game has turned out such a disaster people might just avoid the anime as well

I really hope there's lots of people of colour and trans folk in it!

Why the fuck they decided to make anime when game might be a failure?

Netflix + TRIGGER sounds like a bad combo, the reason people in the west like anime is because it's not the typical neurotic trash that most western media is these days.

Is the game really that bad. Its not even out yet.

>It's amazing to think this is the first true RPG anime being made
Queen's Blade and Lodoss were both based on RPGs, not to mention all the JRPGs getting an anime or an OVA.

I imagine when they made this they already knew the game was shit and wanted to use the anime to rebuild the reputation of the franchise

Anytime a big collaboration project happens, someone drops the ball.
Not expecting anything mindblowing. I'll expect lots of 3DCG

>I hope it succeeds precisely to make people like you mad
Go back to twitter, fag.

I have faith in Imaishi. He will turn this western nogfuel into something that can sit atop the pedestal alongside GitS and Akira.

This, Netflix is a cancer killing the media industry. I hope those fucks can just die out.

It's a disaster
I always thought it was gonna be shit but i really wasn't ready for just how bad the leaks have shown it to be, there is a patch coming day one but there is no way they could have fixed it enough in that time

>can't possibly be worse
It's made for netflix, the probability is high

>2022
Cyberpunk 2077 better not be complete dog shit or else TRIGGER's anime'll go down with it.

But it's not even out yet.

>can't possibly be worse than the game it's based on
A film or series worse than the game it's based on? It's easier than you think.

The contrarian trolling begins as soon as there's hype. Come back in a year or so for a balanced view of it all, when the fanboys and antifanboys have both moved on to the next overhyped thing.

>Trigger
Not even gonna bother

Name a more blatant western pandering than this. I'm gonna vomit by intestine just by looking at the PV when it's out.
