ITT: Characters that single handedly killed the hype
Christopher White
Jaxon Barnes
Gabriel Thomas
Jordan Richardson
Zachary Cruz
What was Paru thinking?
Dylan Campbell
Money, people fucking love him
Zachary Adams
false
correct, what an annoying character. dropped and never came back
Jaxson Howard
Brody Martin
Wyatt Long
scuffed kakashi
JJK has a really interesting world in my opinion but it doesn't matter if this guy soaks up 90% of the spotlight while being a textbook gary sue
Sebastian Perez
Beastars already had problems well before he showed up. I still laugh at the moth eating scene.
How does an author create such an immersive world with such attention to detail with diverse and unique characters that feel real, and then absolutely destroy it with bullshit powerups and transformations.
Cooper Rodriguez
gojou is the only good character in the entire manga, though
Jayden Roberts
Garou created the hype
Jacob Turner
Jayden Hall
>bullshit powerups and transformations.
???
Landon Brooks
Paru fell for the shonen meme.
Owen Cruz
>MC eats a moth and instantly grows his hair back. Oh yeah and now he can do cool moth flips.
>MC eats meat which goes completely against his moral fiber throughout the entire series and instantly heals himself and powers him up to fight the bear. Oh yeah lets not forget he has been completely fine so far fighting meat eaters including an entire yakuza organization that terrorizes the town
>MC learns to start astral projecting his inner beast form which is some bunny-wolf hybrid representing his child and everyone around him can clearly see it.
And loads of other inconsistencies to force the MC to 1v1 his enemies including the cities entire police force with multiple tasks forces shown consisting of hundred of people to completely ignore the villain who was just openly showing himself in the black market alley.
Landon Butler
Rip beastars, it was good 100+ chapters while it lasted
Grayson Roberts
Adrian Anderson
Not good but he's the type of character scientifically crafted to be the most popular. He makes up 99% of juju fan content.
Adam Green
It's not really Garou, but Garou having so much development in a series that tells you outright development means nothing because the MC is gonna one-shot everyone. OPM is a glorified gag manga that takes literal years to hit the "punch"line.
Asher Wood
He's the best thing about JJK though.
>Interesting world
No it's really not especially with the Jap wank.
Hudson Rivera
Ah yea, I remember this puffy head bitch. After her appearance, my excitement of the show dropped.
Jack Price
>>MC learns to start astral projecting his inner beast form which is some bunny-wolf hybrid representing his child and everyone around him can clearly see it.
Animals do this in real life all the time
Camden Bennett
for example...
Zachary Rivera
The MC killed the hype of beastars when he ate the leg like 5 mins after having an epiphany from eating a moth
Jose Hughes
Colton Rogers
Platypus!
Asher Bell
Beastars jumped the shark like 10 different times, but I still liked most of it.
I think the real place where it fell apart was when Melon runs from Legosi after being caught by him in the flowers. That’s where Melon arc should have ended. You can say that’s too abrupt, and maybe you’re right, but Melon should not have gone on for so fucking long.
I can see him being a good final boss, but it seemed way too soon to end the manga. I didn’t like Legosi dropping out, I didn’t like a lot of stuff.
Wasted potential.
Adrian Green
Brayden James
cringe
Asher Watson
This smug son of a bitch. What’s the point of him being ten steps ahead of everyone all the time? It just makes for lazy writing. Plus his character is terrible.
Jace Gray
Her introduction was just shit, I kinda appreciated her existence by end
Mason Ross
watched Joker
Charles Gray
>the type of character scientifically crafted to be the most popular
Basically this. He's masterfully manufactured fujobait.
