Dorohedoro

let’s talk about dorohedoro

noi makes my dick super hard.
the manga made my dick even harder.
the ride was fun.

What’s there to talk about? It’s amazing, Noi is hot as fuck, and Dai Dark is shaping up to be a great follow up

I tried reading Dai Dark but I can't find myself caring about any of the characters. I've re read the released chapters twice now but still not sure what the goal of the story is.

thats how dorohedoro was at the start as well the author will either drop it or come up with some crazy shit to excuse making cool shit

I'm very glad that I decided to binge this after it ended. The middle felt rather dragging. I also wish it ended with the obvious ships being shipped instead of leaving it as just a possibility in the post manga finale. I still remember that scene when Kaiman and Nikaido seemed as if they were going to confess while blushing and acting fidgety, but nothing came out of that. I just want to see Noi and Shin have aryan babies. The gank squad also permanently dying besides 2 came out of nowhere and felt out of place despite the constant times it being shown that revivability is very much possible and nontrivial. They should've lived, idk why q decided to do that.

In the start it was to find out who Kaiman was and chomping on heads. I guess I will just let the chapters pile up for now and revisit in one or two years. Thinking back, that was how I read Dorohedoro as well, read it in batches every 1-2 years, get confused on what is happening, then re read from the beginning again kek.

just read it with an open mind and don’t think about it too much, try approaching it differently

i honestly don’t think the manga had no point to really demonstrate that

It was a wild ride for sure, there are some parts where it seemed over complicated, but the character’s are where it shines the most

Not enough porn.

Yeah I think I massively benefited from binging Dorohedoro after it ended, must've seemed weird as fuck monthly. I trust Hayashida enough to turn it into something interesting despite how whimsical it appears right now

loved dorohedoro antics, but the final 'mystery' was really dragged on for far too long, and the gyoza magic was absolutely ridiculous

It's good. I like it. Every time I reread it I'm surprised by how the quickly the halfway point sneaks up on you. It's still one of my favorite buildups, peaks and denouements to a climactic scene in the medium.

I need to start being more patient and just wait for mangos to end. Wish I did that with Chainsaw Man, probably would've been better to do that.

Its a great allegory for the evils of class advancement.
Going from a shitty garbage baby to the equivalent of a Rothschild or Soros and the total evil that entails is always great for a character piece.
The world building, black comedy and muscle girls are also cozy as fuck.

I thought the gyoza magic seemed fine, it certainly got a slight chuckle out of me.

I kinda feel that Q wanted to write more about the bonds of family/becoming a family even if you aren't blood related than romantic relationships. And that while there was underlying tension/feelings between Shin and Noi neither of them wanted to change and possibly destroy what they had currently.

Hole taking on En and him starting the rain over the Magic World was the peak of the manga imo.
The shopping mall section dragged like an old man's balls and Gyoza Magic just felt like it lacked tension compared to what it should have made the reader feel.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH GODDDD DAAAAAMMMMMIT!!!!
I think I'll just headcanon that all of the implied couples get married and have children after the manga. Their relationships were all done so well that I can't help but ship them. The headcanon doesn't really seem like that big of a stretch either.

More Noi is needed

what were you really trying to expect? I mean I can’t really see how you could misunderstand this unrealistic as it is story like do you really become too attached to someone else’s made up concepts that ultimately ruins your experience with the manga so in essence makes you not really get it so you become frustrated and end up putting your pain on others damn

>putting your pain on others
if you have issues with people not liking things you enjoy, you should probably get off Zig Forums

For the ending, I'd have been fine with more mystery being left.
Q wrapped everything up even if just leaving it would have been fine.
That contributed to the bloat, then the fights just went on too long. The manga had great visceral and grounded withing the context scuffles, and getting En inflating Hole as it just sits there for way too long doesn't really do much for me. Or Kaimen and Nikaido spending a volume fucking with Hole 2.0 as it stands there muttering to itself, really doesn't lend much to tension.

Q tried to wrap too much up for us, and went too far in her boss battles overall.
Good read. But for me what could have been perfect for my tastes, ends up more like an 8/10.

kill sorcerers

Shippers are insane.

anyways i’m biased haha, I absolutely adore this manga and i honestly want others to enjoy it so I don’t see the point in even replying and being a nuisance just because deep down you don’t really get it

I enjoyed the very nicely wrapped ending. As someone that's been following this series for a bit more than half my life (15yrs) I would be mad if there isn't an end to everything. The last fight did went on for too long tho. There also doesn't feel like there's any "arc" through out the story. One thing just keeps leading into another thing like a snowball picking up all the different storylines and meshing it together for the big ending.

Let's not. Let's talk about Dai Dark instead. Zaho Sanko is clearly CHADaruma roughly 50k years in the future.

sorcerers are disgusting

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. He's on his final incarnation and has possibly met up with Hole-kun again. Will they finally become friends in this life?

10/10 and ended in the most Dorohedoro way.

I don't know why, but I love this panel so much. It always makes me smile. Just something about the innocent silliness of it.
