Why would he want to? His works sell well and he gets 100% of the profit. He gets to be entirely his own boss on his own schedule and reaps all the reward. Getting your name out there and getting dedicated fans is the hardest part of self-publishing and he's already well and truly over that hurdle, there's not much benefit to taking on a serialization other than to reach an audience he can't reach with porno. If he doesn't want to do that, then why bother?
