This whole arc already became fucked when Eren decided to let his friends try and stop him so that he'd have to kill them.
That's already out of character as fuck. No human being would behave this way. Anyone in Eren's position and Eren himself would just restrict their titan transformation powers and tell them that it's impossible to stop him so just sit tight until he's done.
this "I can't violate freedom" reasoning is contrived , implausible, post-hock, shitty writing made up purely in order to create a reason for why ERen wouldn't just prevent them from reaching him thus preventing them from being killed NEEDLESSLY
This is by far the worst problem with the final arc post 123.
All the alliance cringe pales in comparison to this critical out of character bullshit.

Yea, 3 chapters left makes Eren being the father very unlikely, because we simply dont have enough time to explore it. A full EH flashback along with the reactions of the other characters (namely Historia and Armin) would take half a chapter at the very least, more probably a full chapter.
