Now that the dust has settled what's your opinion on chainsaw man part 1?

It was great, bat shit insane and violent, as well as hard to predict. I'm looking forward to part 2 where kobeni ends up as Denji's substitute teacher on the day the school gets attacked by the return of the tomato devil.

Good beginning, okay middle part, shitty end, had to rely on a marketing stunt to drum up interest for part 2

storytime when? I thoroughly enjoyed the Fire Punch storytime earlier this year, and I'm a little over a dozen volumes into the Naruto storytime

She actually used her power here, notice how she was next to Denji in one page, then Kishibe disappears in the next page without Denji seeming him (time skipped, remember angel flashback) and she's on top of the dog, looking the other way as children often do when they try to pretend they have nothing to do with something they caused.
There doesnt necessarily need to be anything negative here, hell, maybe it was even Kishibe that put her up to it, but if the author wanted this could matter in the future

Its because while she doesn't have any memories of her life as Makima she is still the same person inside. Its a pure control devil before she lost herself thanks to the lack of love and "became makima"
Though I think its obvious she will remember the shit she did as makima eventually in the sequel since its too good of a drama device to not use it, and denji still has feelings for her makima persona.

Kishibe was always nyanko. We've never seen them together before this chapter. The kishibe we saw this chapter was merely nyanko projecting an illusionary kishibe to keep up the act

Initially I was disappointed with the final stretch.
I have found it underwhelming and sort of just "is this it? is this really how Chainsaw Man ends?" but that was before we know anything about a part 2.
I just read the final chapter and I really liked it. The final two pages were great "There's a rumor that Chainsaw Man is a highschool student now" and then the page of Denji in his school uniform with his cheeky smirk about to pull his Devil Trigger. That was a really great way to end it.
Knowing that this is all setting up part 2 is really exciting too, it will be interesting to see new characters and how Denji will operate in a school setting with people his own age and presumably normal people. Also how he will deal with Nayuta and all the dogs he's taking care of now.

I really like this, it makes me hopeful for part 2 and I'm really excited to see where Denji will go from here.

I REALLY hope that Kobeni returns for a major role in part 2. She is my favorite character.

At some point, Denji will ask Quanxi if she wants to come with him to Hell to find her girls. She will say that there's no point, they're dead. But when Denji is about to depart Quanxi still appears and comes with him.

Yeah, only she didn't die, did she? She died when she willingly sacrificed herself, which is much later on.
Not to mention that Future told Aki that "You and Power will be slaughtered by Denji and Devil that Devils fear the most shall appear". The only part that is false is Power getting slaughtered by Denji, everything else is true. That doesn't really makes sense. Future has no reason to lie, he just twists truth. But no amount of twisting and mental gymnastics on his part will explain that not only Denji didn't actually kill Power, but she willingly sacrificed herself.
