Get your grammar right first. And all three franchises have shit movies, save for One Piece's 6th movie which tried to be unique and different on its own right.

The only ones I watched were the Last one (most recently) and I remember on Toonami they showed one where they go to a snow-village on a train that I felt had a good vibe- but even as a teen rather lost out on tackling a industrialization angle.

I don't remember if the one about the village built around a meteor was a movie or not- but I liked it's concept- this Ninja village has a unique village around using the chakra of the meteor- but this makes it impossible to expand, because they need to be in a certain range to use it.

I think I also remember one, where Naruto escorts a kid with a gameboy? And wasn't there one where Naruto had to fight a bunch of steampunk knights- implying the existence of white people?

All 3 major series suck complete ass in there movies, the main issue.

There all just filler shit just trying to look good. None of them really broke any box office records and where there for a bit more income for Pierrot.

It's sad but unless they break away from that trend, it ain't changing any time soon.

Naruto is more philosophical than nearly all other anime.

It's steeped with buddhist and hindu philosophy and the characters legitimately have really agony ridden backstories.

Pain's six paths are the Lokas/realms of hinduism and each have abilities based on the realms they reside/come from.

They're named as such, deva, asura, preta etc.

If you didn't know this... 'chibaku tensei' / 'bansho tenin' means nothing to you.

Pain's monologue is based on the cycle of suffering in hinduism/buddhism.

Madara is the same, he opens the third eye and sees suffering for what it is.... attempting to cast illusion (maya) over people... but is in fact in Maya himself.

Chakra, Karma, Indra, Asura, Garuda, thousand arms techniques, edo tensei, vajra, sasuke's lighning bolts, animal summons, reviving people from their realms, hell even the writing used on the scrolls is an indian script.

unless you know the culture, history and religion - you don't realise how deep this shit actually goes. even the hand waving jutsus are called 'mudra' or 'kuji-in' in sanskrit / japanese respectively. They channel energy round the body.

Eva on the other hand for example? ironically, this 'deep' anime doesn't hold a fucking candle to even something like Naruto.

not surprising. the last is the only movie that is actually canon. you used to also be able to include boruto, but movie version of that is the worst because it was rushed and left shit out. something the anime (for all of its many flaws) fixed. and yeah, i know some people LOVE road to ninja, but those are just narusaku shipper fags who can't accept defeat.

One Piece has like three great movies. Movie 6 because it's an original story produced by an acclaimed director and the modern strong world and film z movies because the author is prominently involved in their making and they could easily be considered canon. The modern movies have generally been pretty good and do really well in the box offfice.

Stone of Gelel is a guilty pleasure only because I like the way the steampunk knight aesthetics go against the ninja aesthetics

Putting in all kind of "muh deep symbolism" doesn't make it a better show

How is it that even die hard fans of the Big Three don't really care about the non-canon movie but DBZ movies are very popular, all the movie villains are present in all DB related media.

I love road to ninja because of the wacky alternate universe where everyone switched personalities, the akatsuki fanservice, and the scenario of naruto's life if his parents had lived.

My opinion also.

I don't think there's a single OP or Bleach movie I liked better than any of these movies.
