When I was just getting into anime as a wee lad I went to the anime club and I won a digi charat calender. I was too embarrassed to hang it on my wall.
Op here, actually I am new to the digi charat series. I never knew that anime had calender's lol.

The anime was developed to promote the store's mascot character and ended up getting popular out of nowhere on the strength of character design and weeb bux. It's like if the coca cola polar bears were made into a cartoon and it took off for some reason
Is nyo worth it? I've seen it up to Usada's first appearance and it feels like a total downgrade compared to the first anime.
Well I can't really imagine back in the day there must have been a lot of Digi Charat merchandise in the west assuming your not from Japan. Was that anime well known during the period it was released in the west?
Not including Winter Garden, which doesn't exist, Nyo is probably the weakest. Watch it if you got nothing else to do IMO.
I've seen a couple english comments on youtube saying they remember it dearly, but that's about it. It deserves more love imo.
