Enemy has super regeneration powers

Well, I do like the idea on paper. When there are a wide variety of powers and factors in a battle series, it'd be interesting if there were some enemies who simply CAN'T be beaten in a straightforward sense, and have to be taken down in an unorthodox manner.
In the case of super regeneration, I'd say you'd have to either:
>Seal/immobilize them
>Remove or prevent them from using their ability (if there's some established way to cancel their powers) and then kill them the normal way
>Obliterate their body completely until there's literally nothing left to regenerate from
>If someone has pocket dimension powers, simply warp the enemy to another dimension and leave them there until they find a way to dispose of them later, although this is pretty unsatisfying

Mushoku tensei also had a good one, cut into five parts and seal each separately for hundreds of years.

I've never seen any story explore the idea that if you permanently stick a big metal rod into a regenerator's brain there's no space for the brain to regenerate. It might try to go around, but if the rod is big enough it won't have a way to properly connect itself back together, resulting in permanent lobotomy.

If it's a because of some biological cell science-magic:
>create an antidote that destroys the regenerative cells that make the enemy regenerative
If it's because of actual magic:
>destroy the source of it's power either by getting rid of it or offering something better for another power thus disabling the regenerative magic
If their being is literally regeneration and not because of an experiment or magical shit but literally how they are:
>incinerate every cell of their body via a powerful attack or several nukes
>send them into space

Granted those method works on the upper enemy types but yeah. Otherwise it's your method OP.

You could genetically modify his regenerative cells so they become cancerous instead, which makes him die a really painful but fast death. Or modify them so they instead of regenerating into their original form them regenerate into something useless, like a jellyfish.

What does poison have to do with the opponent's martial prowess or toughness? If they can't administer poison then buy time for the poison to deteriorate their enemy then they''d lose.

But what if their skin is like a poison dart frog? How do you deal with an enemy that can kill you with a simple touch?
