Probably not. Given the focus on Kurapika's depleting lifespan, and the Dark Continent housing new medicines like Nitro Rice, it's safe to assume that it'll be a Leorio centric arc about him trying to save Kurapika, with a background story of Beyond's escape, ending with a Don reveal, followed by a major timeskip.

This is probably true. Return to the main world 5 or so years later, Gon has trained his nen back, and the power structures have changed since Kakin has no ruler (or the ruler came back after getting off at the "New Continent"), a new calamity has likely shown up, and all the top people of the Hunter Association are gone. This will be where Gon meets Gyro, and they set out to the Dark Continent.
And no matter what happens, I bet the main four will all live, and the story will somehow end with nen being a common practice to combat the final calamity.

It's legit, we'll find out what exactly the ad entails on the 21st

If Togashi knows that he's not going to be able to continue past this arc, he has a couple options. He can try giving it to another (young) mangaka he trusts to finish it, or he can just try to complete this arc and end the story there. Obviously that ending would be disappointing, but it wouldn't be as disappointing as him never writing another chapter.

I personally believe togashi did that to make sure in case the manga has to be dropped then at least gin accomplished his goal. And hey, at the current moment gon is in a good place and happy. Only the other three have yet to be in the same position
