What do you think of Solo-Leveling? Do you like it? Why/Why not? What would you change to improve it?

it's a nice read but the story is not exactly deep or does something new

I was actually really impressed when it completely turned away from the edgy revenge plot stuff that it seemed like it was going towards in the first 50ish chapters? Because of that, ive been happy enough with just the focus on grinding and curbstomping

Last few chapters rubs me the wrong way.

What's with the gook authors being obsessed with spreading anti-Japan sentiment in their works, even going as far to produce an advanced weapon of destruction to wreck the shit out of Japan.

completely and utterly generic I wouldn't change anything because it would be generic no matter what you change (unless you make it into a different story altogether)

The artistic talent and effort is wasted on such a generic and uninteresting story. It's extremely repetitive and shallow and even plagarizes as points out, even down to reusing names like "hunter association" 1:1.

I'm a pretty efficient leveler so I prefer it over group content.I do enjoy doing group leveling with friends, but it's hard to stay in lock-step together all the way to level cap unless you're really dedicated to ONLY playing together.
I don't think anything needs to change to make it better. MMOs are group games, and the primary focus should ALWAYS be on improving group content. Improving single-player content shifts your MMO towards being a solo-RPG and invites players who actively dislike grouping, who throw a bitch-fit if they're mechanically unable to solo content (or just suck too much at the game for anyone to invite them to group content). Pandering to these people will destroy any sense of community in your MMO and ruin it.

It would improve immensely if the MC was depowered massively. Having not just one but hundreds of shadows that can solo S-class is unbelievably boring.

It feels like a massive waste of time whenever there is world building around the tra(S)h-class. Honestly, every moment of hype is such a giant joke.

Another thing to hate; the MC used to have a personality but it was explicitly overwritten to be stoic and unfeeling the second he got his cheat powers.

I'm following it but it's not really entertaining or what. I liked the first few chapters where he'd still face some adversity while training and leveling up. Then he just became the strongest person in the entire country with an army of the undead and everybody else just gets flabbergasted by how amazing the MC is

Even Uni Mini Pet is better than Solo Leveling.

Artistically it is well done, the fights flow very well and everything, but plot and character wise it is shit.
It's basically One punch-man by Murata, but a lot less well drawn and with a lot of less cool and interesting characters/plot, just a guy that kills people and gets minions from it, there is not really anything greater going on for 99% of the time.
Plus the korean names are terrible to remember and this doesn't help for the shitty thing.
In conclusion a waste of time, go read something else.

Well said. These are the biggest issues with gookmics. Some of them really do have outstanding art, but basically none of them can write for shit. If I just wanted to look at pretty art then I'd fucking do that.
