if you're a new defi project, you could spend man power to build an in house oracle solution that will likely be vulnerable because it's just a small part of your project.... or you could just use the standard, which is what all the new defi projects are doing, and since they are now moving faster than the pre-link ones they're progressively taking over, snx and aave now being top 3 defipulse while maker falls off in ranks
