Dude there’s a whole board just for Pokemon

It's pretty decent, one of the few (I need extra strength air quotes here) "Mature" mon media out there that actually show a darker, more interesting side of Pokemon you only ever see in the Creepy pokedex entries or fanfiction.

Wish GF would honor their adult fans more and at least give us an older protagonist who gets ini more mature story lines. But going by Monkry palms logic if that ever happens we'd likely get a generic ass high school student and his harem of poorly written love interest with actual Pokemon taking the back seat...

Pokemon: Mystery High School would just end up a really shit Persona rip off anyway.

GF lost any sense of ambition or creativity back in the DS era, and they've realised that they don't need that to make money anyway.

Annoying amount of obnoxious characters, especially author's pet ones. It really drags the fist few arcs down when the heroes we're seeing need a punch to the face.

Was funny to see Lack-Two's Pokemon realize in horror that their trainer is a sociopath though.

I don't think that's true, I just think they A) Have a pitifully small team relative to the size of the games (I assume this is TPC's fault), and B) got caught up in the Pokemon Go hype and ahve been making easier games for a mobile audience. Actually, come to think of it, both of those are objective facts. Come at me.

To be fair, you're actually probably correct, a lot of the blame can likely be directed at TPC. I'd say GF's been pretty clearly struggling since the transition to more 3D environments, and I have to wonder how much of that is due to pressure from TPC about making sure the franchise is looking "modern" and ignoring how much that scales their work.

At the same time, we've not seen many outside companies choosing to work on the Pokemon franchise, so we don't get new experiments like Ranger, Mystery Dungeon or Conquest. Is that lack of external interest, with companies choosing to focus on their own IPs, or is TPC not making it worth their while?

So how do we fix these issues? And I mean beyond just letting fans make their own games, what can GF, as a company, do to restore their integrity and creativity, as well make content for all age groups of their audience?

It's a retarded Plebbitor who has been posting these retarded threads

did she ever appear in any canon animations???

you dont

Pokemon is now a global franchise. It lost it's Japanese edge and creativity. it'll never happen

>So how do we fix these issues?
Reduce copyright to 20 years so Gen 1 ROMs become legal.

How much raping must happen in Pokemon world with a bunch of children running around by themselves?

she's an OC so take a guess, retard

The first 4 regions covered are the best content out of not just the manga, but the entire franchise.
You're better off posting these threads on >>/vp/ though for obvious reasons.

Lol they should have taken the superior route like digimon and introduced the dark themes in the anime early on

i remember liking it though i think large parts of it were edgy in a way that's dumb instead of fun, it makes me think of those bad "what if sonic does drugs?" video game jokes from a decade ago, or the dramatic equivalent anyway.
besides the obvious less handholding i think they should place less emphasis on the whole "pokemon care and friendship" and "look at this quirky enviroment" things, i really just want to get cool monsters to fight other monsters i don't give a shit about rubbing my pokemon after every battle. it seems like theres increasingly little for people who like pokemon as an rpg instead of a pet/magical adventure simulator. i'd wish they'd stop visually regionalizing pokemon, it's probably way worse for designs than the whole round eyes triangle eyes thing. it's always been around to an extent but it feels like it's gone into overdrive since the 3ds games.

Ruby and Sapphire is the best arc. Followed by X and Y. Lastly Black and White.

At the age of 10 they get their first pokemon as protection. It's the equivalent of a handgun.

bretty good

>its pokemon none of that happens let alone pointing guns at people because shit gets banned.

The simp Black vs the thot arresting Lack Two.

Went downhill with emerald, but was still enjoyable overall. Great read that anyone to claims to "like" pokemon should really read.
Also Blue is the girl and Green is the guy. If anyone claims differently then you fucking kill them.

The enshrined and heralded Black versus the laughed at and ridiculed Lack Two.

>committing murder because of a manga
I have never seen such autism before

I'll take hyperbole for 200, Alex.

Why do you keep making this thread? We've had several Pokespe threads in the last few days

It was an above average battle shounen then went to shit after RS

The manga gives zero fucks. Even killing kids isn't off limits.

festival of champions is the superior pokekino. too bad the artist is a mistyfag.

>buzzer goes off
I'm sorry user that was incorrect
>what is autism
Correct

Turned to shit as it went on

Note that Zinnia didn't die from this. Nor even after this.

>only shown in obscure media while the main media is kid friendly and won't ever allow it

>its pokemon, nothing bad ever happens

Pretty sure this kid got killed.
