are you high? that was .999 generic Had plenty of .925, sold most at a profit, bought more 999 with it and got free silver.
Its honestly harder to sell junk silver and wont get you full spot outside of people desperate to buy, which they were, and will be once PM's rally from this pullback.
How many oz silver we talking? What's your swap point? 15-1, 20-1?

>B: GLD and SLV are trusts which supposedly hold the shit in vaults, if indeed the large majority of the physical is in there, then eventually the spot price and paper price have to line up. Why does /bis/ believe they're so defficient in physical inventory, or otherwise believe they'll go to zero?
SLV are futures contracts with expiry dates. when the contract expires, it must be rolled over into another futures contract, fulfilled with physical silver delivery, or settled with cash. i think the problem is more and more people are opting for physical delivery of the silver at contract expiry, and the theory is there is not enough physical silver in storage to back up the paper silver contracts that have been issued
what this means for the price of silver or SLV i dont know, maybe someone in here knows?
Same and been pondering. Thinking I'll hold tight because I'm lazy and gold is pretty. Also when the time comes, who is to say there will be gold available for purchase?
ill give it to you straight, its always gonna be more user

Bought over 100 oz above 28$ spot because you fucks said dealers will soon be out of inventory. Guess what? They are drowning in silver. I am usually the one to say nothing ever happens and then I fell for this pump and dump. That comex thing? Not happening.

Believe me, I've been buying physical. I just have January 2021 calls on SLV (yes i am well aware of the COMEX and the risk) that i was up a good amount on 2 days ago and was so close to reaching the portfolio value where i would cash everything out and quit my shitty grocery store job. Obviously now those calls got gutted today and likely will again tomorrow, and i still believe silver has great fundamentals so of course i will keep holding. It just hurts knowing how close i was to my goal.
