Anons Rmpl is flawed. The main benefit of this is to stop whales from manipulating the market. On paper sounds great, but when you dig a bit deeper you find the flaws. The issue with whales is not the predictability, but rather the fair and equitable distribution at the onset. Another issue with the random rebase idea is whoever sits by their computer all day can wait for the rebase to come in and buy or sell immediately. Bots can still be programmed to watch addresses and when they detect a change, buy or sell. So, are you really even accomplishing anything with this random rebase idea? What if someone is able to figure out the random rebase function and can exploit it? This could potentially open up the project to another possible attack vector. Predictability is what makes it work. Btc is predictable. The max supply you know. You can even estimate it daily. Predictability is necessary because it allows you to appeal to every single type of token holder : short term traders, long term traders, yield farmers, arbitrageurs, etc. A random rebase function alienates some of these defi users, arbitrageurs, and short term traders. Not to mention, also making it harder to use as defi collateral. For long term success this is not ideal; you need to appeal to every type of users not alienate them...

RMPL is showing sign of scam anons. The random function that they promised will be exposed after the code released, till now still hidden. They said they have a server that will trigger the Rebase randomly but who knows? The rebase code we see in the contract only prove that the OWNER of the token can activate rebase anytime he wants. Generate random number in Solidity is impossible without oracle (which RMPL hasn't introduced/mentioned anywhere yet). The team banned every user asking about code question on telegram. Too many red flags for me.

Even if this is a scam, get in early, get as many positive rebases as you can and take half the profits and convert it to cheap etherium. It still means that loads whales aren’t abusing the predictable rebase time and most people are more scared to sell because it could come any moment.

After digging for a while, I found out that the team was based in Singapore. I don't trust these Singapore startups a lot. The first AMA was in Vietnam, which sharing the same Timezone with Singapore make me have a feeling that the team based in Vietnam, and rented a Server to run the website in Singapore (That typically what Vietnamese startup usually choose). That's a red flag for me
