Hajime-chan

What are your thoughts on Gatchaman Crowds?

My favorite tokusatsu of all time. Great use of modern media too. Season 3 never. Hajime the best. Time for rewatch.

it's pretty redpilled like most kenji nakamura works. second season was a bit of a let down though. why doesn't he get more work?

>why doesn't he get more work?
He disappeared completely for some time, I think he's working on some original non-franchise project.

I always thought that Hajime would be the type to care that much about social norms so she most would have no problem with farting, belching, picking her nose or doing all sorts of disgusting stuff in front of people.
What do you do, user?

I wish I could find the music from the episode where Hajime gets fucked up by her team but their no luck

GA-GA-GA-GATCHAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN

I hope season 3 will introduce a completely barefoot character. That will be such a turn on for disgusting perverts like me. She could be an angel - like alien who came to earth to teach people to be nice to be each other or to bring more goodness into the world . I figured that this would be the best choice since most angels are barefoot. Maybe have it be part of her character that she hates wearing shoes because she finds them to be uncomfortable.
Or maybe even have it be part of her powers - she can sense different kinds of energies through her feet.
Even better if we can see some shots of her feet as she's flying around.

Why will there never be a season 3?

Best girl.
Best legs
Best ass.

Hajime literally carried the show there is a reason she had to return in season 2 to save the day.

I like her, didn't bother to finish the anime though

This

I'd suck

She was a really interesting main character. I wouldn't have paid any attention to the show if it wasn't for her. She made the whole thing feel extra weird and unique. Not a great show but it had charm.

Hajime was great. The last season was a bit slow but the writing was clever.

Yeah but it really ended on a high note, I still remember everyone here losing their shit when those things popped up and started swallowing people.

It's awesome but heavily filters plebs

It's one of the few shows to utilize realistic mob psychology and media dynamics. Unlike many reboots of very old series, Crowds does not require nostalgia to appreciate; the series can be understood and enjoyed with no knowledge of the Gatchaman franchise (I wasn't even aware that Gatchaman was a franchise until late Season 2).

That being said, the show can easily be conceived as pretentious due to its focus on conceptual exploration rather than story plausibility. This is especially prominent when the writers want to showcase a certain psychological concept, which sometimes causes the story to become contrived. As a result, this show is very unlikely to appeal to people who just came to see combat action or Hajime's cute smile.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Hajime was a uniquely insightful genki, and her unusual and sometimes extreme choices made the show much more robust. Season 2 played out somewhat slowly and bizarrely, but I was entertained the whole way through regardless.

Gatchaman's optimistic take towards the wisdom of crowds, the potential for good of social media and greater democratization via easy to hold and quick digital referenda. Has been overtaken by a grim reality where foreign influences can't be stopped from influencing local elections if they're digital, social media increasingly keeps people from making real connections and locks people in information bubbles where they only see what they want to see.

one of the best girls in all of anime, also I wanna make her pop 20 babies of mine.

Hajime, Berg and Rui made it all worth it.

Hajime was cool and I liked the OP of s1 but overall it was garbage

Didn't give a shit about her but I enjoyed the show

Great art, characters and a decent story. Couldn't really ask for more from a series at a basic level.

Seems shallow at first, but there is so much more to everything she says and does. She's one of my all time favorite characters.

Don't you mean how the hell did this get a second season?

I don't think it's that good though.

And I completely fail to see how is this shit redpilled.

Best part was Hajime-chan, otherwise forgettable. No point in having it be a Gatchaman project.
