I just watched EP 2 and GOD DAMN how could Mappa fuck it up this much? I've seen 70's anime better animated than this shit. This thing was made when the animator was having explosive diarrhea and worked between shitter pauses or idk. Animation aside there are so many things that were great in the manga. FUCK MAPPA.

Wow japanese fans are vocal about the new season and they are not happy. They're discontented with the way the MAPPA animation is going and the whole cgi effects. I guess they were holding out hope for a different studio, but same art style route. There's even a petition that's garnered thousands of signatures to have the art style changed.
