What would happen if they got captured?
My theory:
Get away: society goes full force against the heroes for abandoning their posts and leaving the civilians defenseless as well as letting the villains escape again. Hell, the civillains might even double down and shut down UA because, once again, they employed scho kids (first years no less)in this dangerous operation.
Villains caught: society are split on whether to thank the heroes for trying to pre-emptivly strike the villains before they could do anything, or berate the heroes for abandoning their posts to protect the civilians first.
