because Hori literally is just grasping at straws and writing as he goes along. It was clear he had planned on Iida on being a more proactive member of the story but then the fans started ejaculating over Todoroki so suddenly Iida was thrown into the back. Hori claims he had an ending in mind and even said some shit about how the movie is the "ending he had envisioned originally" but he didn't have any fucking idea how to get there. I honestly believe that the most amount of story he's planned out was up to Stain and then from there on he's just throwing shit at the wall and seeing what can stick.

Shiggy is such a poorly written villain that Hori literally had to dedicate an entire arc to reset his fucking character and even after all that the person we end up with is "hurr durr I just want to destroy everything derpy herpy durr" Does anyone even fucking remember Shigaraki when he was first introduced where he talks about shit in video game terms?

Well first off, MHA is supposed to be it's own self-contained story meaning what you see is the original product. This means it's should have a certain development flow that has a certain level of believability, for example characters and their temperaments should always be untouched and not cater to whatever convenient fanfictionish scenario. The later is usually seen anime when demonstrated though shit-pandering filler like the filler we find in Dragon Ball Z and Bleach. But that's not the case with MHA, actual canonical scenes in the manga are written like some cheap homosexual fic on ff.net where the fan author imagines his self-insert Deku having unrealistic merry go lucky adventures, dinner and interactions with his gay crush Bakugo. The way characters talk and interact with each other is pure idiotic convenience that strips any elements of individuality or believability, it panders to whatever mentally deranged reader it's trying to satisfy. It's not even fucking readable on a basic level, you're just forced to stop because you cannot bear to go through another page of this shit.

I think part of the disgust people have over Deku's character is because the entire story is being told from the perspective of a future Deku explaining about how he became the #1 hero. So whenever we see him acting like a faggot we subconsciously remember that this is all still being told through Deku's perspective, even on shit that he should have no memory or knowledge of.
