Kaido, easily. Big Mom's "parental love" only comes at the price of you effectively being her slave for the rest of your life. At least Kaido gives you the fair chance of doing you want so long as you CLIMB and become stronger than him.

I think he is an asian arowana. A short description is: It is a fierce predator dating back to the age of the dinosaurs. It has large, metallic scales, like coins; whiskers that jut from its chin; and it undulates like the paper dragons you see in a Chinese New Year’s parade. All of these traits suit Kaido very well. Dragons, unpiercable skin, his whisker-like beard and his dragon form. Another thing is, that there is a myth which states that any businessman who owns 9 asian arowanas will succesfully run his business forever. Coincidently there a 9 red scabbards.

I think when they reach the top someone has to hold Big mom... maybe Zoro can do it for a while until people like marco etc come around and then Zoro can fight Kaido with Luffy. I said this because big mom uses a sword too and would be cool to see Zoro at least clashing with her just for 5 minutes or something.

It took doffy/cracker/enranged army/katakuri to get luffy to 1st commander level.

Zoro beat pica/ a drugged up post TORTURE killer/and an apoo that was fighting a dinosaur hybrid in his territory aka close range, apoos specialty is long range. Zoro cut him while he was distracted, apoo got up so it wasn't a dub, katakuri did not get up the chapter after luffy beat him lol.

Last time i checked all of these zoro fights are people clearly weaker than doffy

A fucking Fish-Fish fruit. Who would have thought. I knew Oda was trolling us, but this is some next level shit right here. Didn’t imagine a DF could be based on an animal that literally lives in water. As we all know, it being named the Fish-Fish fruit means there’s definitely more of them....so are the Sea Kings people that have eaten an Uo Uo no Mi model?

Furthermore, Kaido’s abilities definitely don’t match any legendary fish I know, so I’m guessing this is based on some kind of folklore tale. I remembered reading that the Magikarp/Gyrados evolution in Pokémon is based on one of these stories, but i thought Oda was done with that reference at the waterfall. Can’t wait to learn more.

I think it'd be funnier if Law cut off Kaido's head and stick it on Kid's ship while still alive like he wanted.

Boichi's Ace feels weird to me, although that may just be because I'm used to seeing him in One Piece's more cartoon-ish artstyle.

The dragon is basically categorized as a fish here since the dragon starts of as a carp in the stories, it basically never stops being a fish a fish even when it's a dragon, it's just a super op mythical fish creature. People are trying to figure out what kind of fish that is, but all it really is saying is that the eastern dragon is basically born a fish, and thus is a mythical fish according to devilfruits.

An interesting note re: the make/model of Kaido's devil fruit.. it kinda plays into the chinese/japanese legend of the koi swimming upstream and up a waterfall. One koi makes it to the top of the waterfall, and is rewarded by the gods for its perseverance by turning it into a golden dragon.
I believe Oda is making a play off this legend. Kaido is known as the strongest creature alive, who has survived hundreds of attacks and dozens of executions over his career. After being a pirate for many many years, he's then "rewarded" by one of his nakama with a devil fruit that turns him into a dragon.

Big Mom uses her kids like dish rags or toys. She's to looney to be reasoned with and too powerful to be ignored. I'm surprised she's done as well as she has considering her condition and the environment she's in. She seems a bit better when outside of her territory, though.
