Yeah, because he deserved way worse.

Berthrototo

A.o.T. is full of deaths of those who didn't deserve to die.

It's a post-apocalyptic zombie horror — innocent men die all the time.

>It's a post-apocalyptic zombie horror
How do you still not fucking know? Not even animeonlys have an excuse anymore.

So Mongolian forums are on fire because of some manga leaks which animators leaked.

>Eren is actually dead inside
>Ymir is feeding from his corpse
>Alliance is heavily defeated, less Reiner who destroys Eren's body with a lance made of armored titan's armor
>Time-skip
>Livai death is offscreened
>Reiner is the new Helos
>Queen Historia is executed
>The baby is Eren

>The baby is Eren
Based Eren recreated himself so he could continue his fight and isnt limited to time now

he was a cucc at every level. he did

He did

I'm current with the strip.

It was honestly exactly what he deserved.

>Bertholdt: I'm not afraid anymore, I'm fine with this no matter how it plays out
>one hour later: AAAAAAAH GUYS HELP ME ANNIE REINER SOMEBODY AAAAAAAAH
It's refreshing how nobody accepts their deaths stoically in this series

Brainlets dont understand how poetic and tragic his death it. they jump on the "HUR DUR HE DESERVED IT BECUS HE IS BAD" bandwagon primarily because he was an antagonist to the gaeyger squad.

His entire existence on paradis is characterised by loneliness, especially when joining the military, all of RBA are lonely from the start, being the only marleyan Eldians on an island full of enemies, but at first they have each other. Reiner copes by becoming overly patriotic and makes discussion of their mission impossible, then slips and starts to prioritize the 104th over bert. Annie doesnt care, bert chooses to avoid getting familiar with his peers, and even though said peers eventually do befriend him, he becomes alone in his mission
He regularly had to make the choice between leaving Reiner in his comforting delusions and suffering alone, or pulling him back to a cruel reality and condemning him to suffer alongside him. With how much time Reiner spent around the 104th, it shows that bert usually made the choice to leave him be and to stay alone
In the end, he dies abandoned and alone, waking up too late to negotiate but too early to die blissfully unaware, just in time to scream for his allies' help while his enemies watch him die screaming. Tears that were shed earlier for reiner aren't shed for him.
Brainlets say he deserved it, unaware of the fact that his parallel to Marco wasn't there to show he got what he deserved but to show that the 104th are now the monsters they feared, having fed a comrade to the very titans whose jaws they so heroically set out to protect humanity from.
The story doesnt explore the tragedy of his life and death and there is barely any emotional acknowledgement of it at all. He, (the Mascot of the series.) Died a rushed death with little emphasis and barely any acknowledgement, lacking a legacy in the story.

Powerful, he's back in the story now so maybe his death will get some closure

Cont

He wasted 5 years of his life collapsing under the weight of his sins on a faraway island and turned himself into a person who can never look himself in the mirror again, and it all results in dying on the day he finally gets to go home. Zeke used his and reiner's fear of being eaten to help him with his secret plan, which would lead to the opposite of securing a future for the mainland eldians, and he dies pointlessly because of it. he dies a failure to marley, losing them their greatest asset. the only personal goal he has is to protect his loved ones, but he draws his last breath likely fearing reiner has been killed, knowing annie might be getting tortured, and that pieck and zeke abandoned him or lost as well, and he remains unaware of his success in keeping reiner safe. he never gained a will of his own, he has no agency in it, its already been decided for him and he'll get it the way it's given to him, exactly like every other facet of his life. the world instantly proves him right: it is absolutely that cuel, but only to him - not to the hero who got a second chance, not to the commander who was spared this hell through compassion.

We didnt see the people who killed him suffer mentally or physically for killing him like he, reiner, and annie did for killing marco, justifying it as necessary and therefor acceptable. as far as we know, they never struggle with their decision, never question its moral implications even after the fact. his kindness didnt end up mattering because it changed nothing. people cant see the person he was through the blood that coated him, and they never may because they have no reason to look back. his death marked a victory for mankind and a step towards a brighter future - historically, it was one of the best things to ever happen to paradis. when he is mentioned, no one cares about who he was or what he suffered;

Reiner and Bertholt are not bad.

Annie and Zeke on the other hand, take pleasure in killing eldians and thats why they do it in brutal ways and have fun with it.

what?

you're definitely right. i hope something happens and he finally get the closure he deserves.

>Reiner and Bertholt are not bad.
Did you read my messages at all?

also what the fuck did you say about Annie? what the fuck are you on about? she didnt take pleasure in killing eldians. she didnt give a shit about anything at all aside from her dad. all of it was meaningless to her.

I'm honestly not sure Isayama knew what to do with Annie, why does she seem distressed over what happened in Trost but then yoyo's a guy a month later like it's nothing?

She murdered Marco. Obviously she'd be distressed. Killing someone you've known for a long time is alot harder than killing a random stranger. its also been shown that annie has basically no regard for life of any kind.

>she didnt take pleasure in killing eldians
faggot, she killed them brutally and toyed with their corpses

Then she went into her bitch crystal plot device cause she would have ended the series sooner by being tortured for answers on who she is and here she comes from

>she killed them brutally
no shit sherlock, that's a consequence of her job as a warrior im not denying that she did fucked up shit. she herself acknowledges her sins.

Not that she did it brutally thats bad, its that she enjoyed it.

i hate to break it to you but the evidence supporting your opinion is incredibly weak. At best id say she's bipolar with her manic mood swings. she even cries after the levi squad incident in the forest.

Didnt have as much fun as Zeke killing, but fun regardless
