It's really unfortunate as well given how competent and confident he was in the early chapters of Omega. The way he handled both Koga and Ryuki showed how much he'd grown over the years. Even standing his ground against the power company guy was good for him. Now he's not a leader for his team and hasn't really delivered on much fighting commentary or insight. This is the same guy who knew Koga practiced karate just from looking at him.

It does, technique will always have a use until you're the strongest in the world by a large enough margin to compensate. We know both Waka and Julius are stronger than Adam so it has a use, if Adam was able to offset the strength difference via technique he would be able to beat them.
