Anyone else dealing with extreme contrasts in their life right now? My coworkers/managers have no idea and still treat me like a wagie.

I will impregnate that woman
>inb4 thats a man
I mean if you are working as an employee you are a wagie so I mean they aren't wrong.... but I could see how this is a weird feeling.
I have 33k. Should I quit?
Congrats on discovering the finer things in life.
*33k blessed linkies

I remember they brought Mac Tonight back for ads that year. I was all like, "why the fuck do they have a Moonman on the counter?"
You're just coming to the realization most of Zig Forums came to in 2017.
Even if you make a million off of your crypto investments, you need about five or six before taxes to actually make it and quit your job.
The more you get, the less it means and the more you need. Until your sitting around with 400k in Link waging every morning because you need another 10x for financial freedom. Go back in time a few years and tell yourself you made 400k and you wouldn't believe it. But now it's a reality and you realize if you cash out that's only a decent house in Midwest America with nothing left over to live off. Maybe try cashing out a few grand and doing something cool with it.
Yes, making so much money in crypto by doing nothing doesnt really motivate me to do my job
thats a man

had a similar thought today, went home from a 10 hour work day + 3 hour commuting (minimum wage).
looked at my portfolio, and saw i made more today than a months salary.
..still not enough to actually change my life (not working permanently).
>Potential multi-millionaire by night
Try multi-$trillionaires
Currently $billionaires will be asking to wipe our asses for nickels.
I thought we had bigger dreams like buying a bunch of land in the country, or traveling and doing whatever you want to do. Buying a yacht.
If you just want to sit at home all day shitposting and eating McDonald's just go on welfare you don't even need to make it to have that kind of life.
You're right. I turned $3,000. Into about $310,000 in 2017 and realized this. My $36,000 salary at the time was no longer making a dent in my savings and I was losing/gaining 2x my salary daily. I have realized now that I can either focus on my career (I make $90,000 per year now) or I can rocus on making money, but not both. Everything you said is true though.
I know what you mean, but I think many on Zig Forums are not realizing there is a middle ground.
Pleb savings vs. $5-10 million dollars is a false dichotomy. There is a middle ground where you have $1-2 million dollars, but you do work not for paying the bills but either because it is something you enjoy doing or to just get more capital.
My plan is to reach a million and then work on something I am passionate about. There is a significant difference in mindset once you have fuck you money and you're no longer working to pay the bills.
you're still a wagie until you cash out
t. 2017 bagholder
That's quite stupid, with 1 million down payent, you can purchase between 5 and 10 million in real estate and quietly live off it for the rest of your life
>still not enough to actually change my life (not working permanently)
What if you have a million-dollar safety net and instead of working on something you hate, you work on something you actually like doing? That's life changing for me.
surreal user
still hasnt hit me
not sure wether to sell a small portion or not, have a feeling holding assets is alot better than fiat
ohh and i havent changed and will not change, just remaining low key
I have a good job, but I think that some of my co-workers think that I'm unusually happy for someone in my position. It's hard not being able to say anything.
>If you just want to sit at home all day shitposting and eating McDonald's just go on welfare you don't even need to make it to have that kind of life.
I have been fucking up this whole time... 36 now been working full time since I was 15. The answer was right there, just do welfare...
True dat, but as long as Link continues an upward trend for the next 2 years, I feel I am in a good place.
Part of me just wants to yell it out but I know better than that lol. Low key is the only way
$660k is hardly enough to live off of the rest of your life
Earlier this year I was in a rut like that (especially with the whole work from home thing), but I managed to get to a point where I can actually focus on work now
Consider it as a challenge in self-control
You think $20 is the top?
If you were here in 2017, you KNOW what's going to happen. It's happened twice before already, and it's gonna happen again over the next 16 months. We're only in month 3 of the bull market right now. Shit didn't really start to pop off in 2017 until like May. That was 10 months after the halving.
It's already overpriced. $20 is the absolute top.
He was in before you said it
I’m talking ds in as
$1000 eoy faggot
Yep, I bought my first link in Dec 2017. Definitely FEELS like the bull run is here and Link is the new ETH, but I am still selling the majority once I hit 6 digits in net worth, regardless of price
Based on what?
>Potential multi-millionaire by night
So you're a temporarily embarrassed millionaire like every other american.
>My coworkers/managers have no idea and still treat me like a wagie
You are a fucking wagie. What, you expect them to roll out the red carpet? You surprised the receptionist isn't sucking you off under your desk?
Same here OP. Irl I'm a normie through and through. The second work ends I'm posting racist frogs on Zig Forums while making hundreds of thousands in weeks or less. I'm making way over 10x my yearly salary in crypto right now and no one even knows. Also am NEVER gonna reveal my power level. I have more cash than anyone in my family atm.
>Mild mannered code monkey by day
>Potential multi-millionaire by night
I'm in the exact same boat OP.
I've set myself some tier of goals, where one of the first ones will be to without debt get a place to live, them comfortably make my way to financials freedom.
Going from nothing to financial freedom is too harsh, you'll get scared and overwhelmed. You need to change your life step by step, so doing it step-wise is smart.
