I bought them because I could automate daily buys and withdraws from exchanges via their APIs with low tx fees. All the coins with high withdraw fees which also were erc20s seem to have been all the moon missions. The few erc20s I bought were all garbage as well. I automated weekly buys of LINK starting back in May 2020 but it only added 150 or so to my stack.

Don't overlook the indian component. Their sheer numbers and blind pride will pump the sentiment and volume up to crazy proportions once it reaches a breakout price where normies start to notice and talk about it around the water cooler.

I think parity with ETH is reasonable. Maybe not now, but within the year.
