I was in predicament. YAM had everything: Magic meme momentum, no pre-mine, decentralized from the start, rebasing. When they announced the bug in the contract and we needed to delegate votes, I had to decide if it was going to be saved as I could have got my money out then with a little profit. I thought the community was on fire so I YOLO'd that shit and went to bed. I woke up and the creators were basically saying it's over. I took my losses, dumped what I had left into RSR and have moved on.
I did learn something though. I found a whale's address who I think was part of the founding team. The way we was taking advantage of the farming and rebase was incredible. He went from 2.4mm to 5mm post rebase. His account is now at 1.4mm today. Looks like he did the same thing.

what should've happened:
new supply = old supply x (some number) / (some other number)

this would've resulted in a small new supply

Turn on expert mode on uniswap (the gear icon) and increase your slippage tolerance from 5-25% depending on sell size. You'll lose money on the slippage but you'll still make if the order is big enough.
