I'm scared yet optimistic help please

So hi Zig Forums
I've never used this side of Zig Forums before so please be gentle with me I know not your Zig Forums ettiquette as not explicitly stated in the sticky. I come to you guys with some need of advice (oh boy here we go). I'm hearing a lot about how gold and other precious metals have eyes on some sky high prices. So I'm asking you guys; is now a good time to buy some coins? I don't trust BTC for the longterm on the off chance that they wants to make a Gov'tcoin.
I'm a man of simple means but I have enough money to buy some coins to maybe hold me over for the future. I don't know, my hope is that someone here can give me some guidance; should I wait for the price to drop? I'm not savvy on these things

basically what's happening right now in terms of the financial system? is there a concise bullet point list someone can make?

are these things lucrative? or just a hedge fund?

Doesn't really matter what you do, just don't hold cash. If you're scared you're going to make mistakes. Bad one, its better to just not play at all. Just make some long term investments with whatever money you'd be okay with losing and then wait 10 years.

I'd tell you to buy chainlink but your hands are too weak. BTC is fairly safe as far as cryptos goes but you aren't going to be gaining much value. Gold and silver are nice boomer shit and are good when the U.S. dollar inflates a lot. As far as stockmarkets go just buy an eft and wait. On wall street they use to say that if the markets don't stop going down, the best investment is a gun and some ammo.

I have questions,
wouldn't buying a coin be a good longterm investment?

isn't the dollar on the train to Inflationville?

what's an eft?

also I'm in Canada, gun ownership has been kind of a touchy subject lately, yes even with the riots

>imminent stagflation due to lockdown
>fed printing money like crazy which is propping up the stock market
>silver is undervalued due to spot price manipulation by JPM and others using futures contracts trading

tldr get your money out of fiat and stock market into real assets. i recommend 3-5% of your net worth in silver and gold at an 80 oz to 1 oz ratio. do your own research but my preference is american eagles despite their higher premium because of their liquidity. retaining the value of your money will be the name of the game over the next 3 years

this is just one man’s opinion and strategy. listen to every user (besides crypto shills) and do your own research

i just saw you’re in canada, for you it would be the canadian maple leaf instead of the american eagle

I'm not sure why people are afraid of govt creating a crypto, or even better, outright banning Bitcoin. Even the slightest hint of gun control moons the gun industry.

gotcha, maple leaf then, but at the same time gold is gold, could I not use the coin in the states? or would it be too hard to liquidate?

Buy pnk

bUy Link HolD prove it

it's a new way to centralize it, what happens if they eliminate the fiat tomorrow and thus take an executive action to carry the worlds bitcoin? what happens when they control the power grid and the world goes dark? obviously these border on schizo territory but I just got a bad feeling about it

stop throwing letters at me like they mean something

oh I heard of this are these the bots of Zig Forums asking me to buy shitcoins?

Don’t buy any coins. Most are get rich quick bullshit being shipped by coping losers. Invest in the stock market instead and maybe other physical assets that wouldn’t lose too much value over the long run. The truth is about crypto is that it is so volatile that you could earn some extra cash tomorrow, but the next day all your money is gone. Everyone that is rich off crypto invested years ago so don’t get your hopes up on some random shitcoin go make your millions

Is gold is predicted to lose a lot of value soon? can you explain how I'm supposed to work the market? is there a pattern to take advantage of?

speaking from my experience in the states selling gold and silver bullion to your local coin shop (abbreviated as lcs if you ever decide to lurk the precious metals threads) is easiest and you get the most money for American Eagles since they are made by the US Mint and trusted here. I would assume the same goes for the Maple Leaf in Canada but I don’t know for sure since I’ve never been there. it would be worth stopping by your lcs or calling them and get quotes for selling maple leafs vs generic rounds and bars and comparing that to the difference in premiums that you pay

Third world country bot here just buy link and shut the fuck up someday you will look back and remember that third world monkey help you get riches

You can't "work" the market. There are entire businesses built on playing the market. A random user has little chance -- you can find good undervalued assets and invest tho

This is the kind of advice I was looking for, so you're saying 5% net wealth in PM 80oz:1oz/ag:au
I could buy from the Canadian Mint over here, the premiums are high though, is it more worth it to ensure quality?

what makes an asset undervalued? I mean I know what those words mean in that order but is there a special set of circumstances? can you point me in the right direction? or is it basically common sense?

Damn you really don’t come here often

I appreciate the advice but I think I'd rather have something to hold in my hands in case of emergency

Coinmetro is the best exchange. They are fully regulaory conpliant, they have 24/7 customer support, and they have by far the lowest trading fees. You can easily and simply buy crypto there with your credit card. I would recommend buying some LINK and BTC and then jjst forger about it for a year. Coinmetro also has "Copy Trading" a feauture where you can invest some money and let another vetted trader trade for you.

If you use ny signup link that is contained in this pastebin, you will get free raffle tickets to their monthly raffle. Additionally, if you trade/invest at least 250 dollars worth, you will also get 5 dollars for free.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask

Mint doesn't provide much more quality desu. If you just want exposure to the metals 1oz rounds from a top10 name will save you on the premiums

this

it’s called technical analysis and is basically gambling. maybe if you’re a genius you can write trading algos and figure it out but your best bet is to use common sense and keep your investment strategy simple

observe herd behavior, buy undervalued assets, wait for bubbles to pop and blood to fill the streets, buy, repeat. patience is key.

Just look at YFLINK. That's undervalued.

Easier to see the value if you don't worry about price. Compare to other assets.

The markets will keep pumping as lobg as the fed is pumping dollars. As soon as they stop the stock market will crash. Gold and crypto will initially crash with it, however both of these two asset classes will bounce, unlike the stock market, and they will reach never seen heights.

Why don’t you take the time to read into stocks that you feel will have future value? I don’t mean reading the top articles on yahoo. Maybe look into technologies that may be needed or useful to others and invest. You could also hire someone to manage your money and make those investments for you.

On gold, some anons over at Zig Forums have been saying that gold is STILL very undervalued and so is silver. But I wouldn’t really know the future and I don’t think anyone else truly knows.
Just don’t waste your money on sone crypto scam if you haven’t read the white paper and understand it.

I see I mean I feel like I new this already, not that I don't appreciate it. I'm not looking to get rich quick, I just want to marry the girl I love and give her a home she can live well in. I don't want to be a millionaire, I want a future.

High quality bait user, congratulations you've fooled a lot of them.
